    摘要: This disclosure describes a set of advanced video coding technologies and is particular related to cross-component sample offset (CCSO) filtering of reconstructed samples. For example, CCSO filter parameters may be allowed to vary from a filtering unit to another filtering unit. A filtering unit may be a filtering block or a filtering region containing multiple spatially adjacent filtering blocks in a reconstructed frame. Corresponding allowed options of CCSO filter parameter combinations may be specified. Each filtering unit may select from the allowed combination options. The selected combination options may be signaled in the bitstream or derived in some other manners. Allowing such CCSO filter parameter variation within a frame may provide filtering quality gain that outweighs a cost of overhead in signaling.

The processing circuitry determines at least a first band width for a first band and a second band width for a second band. The processing circuitry determines at least a first offset associated with the first band and a second offset associated with the second band, and categorizes reconstructed samples of a first color component into at least the first band and the second band. The first band includes first reconstructed samples and the second band includes second reconstructed samples. The processing circuitry applies the first offset to first reconstructed samples of a second color component that are collocated with the first reconstructed samples of the first color component, and the second offset to second reconstructed samples of the second color component that are collocated with the second reconstructed samples of the first color component.

In one aspect, a method includes obtaining video data comprising a plurality of blocks, including a first block. The method also includes predicting respective coefficient signs for selected subset of the transform coefficients associated with the first block based on respective context information; and reconstructing the first block based on the plurality of transform coefficients and the predicted respective coefficient signs.

    摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for video encoding/decoding. In some examples, an apparatus includes processing circuitry that is configured to receive a coded video stream including a current block that is associated with a transform block, and determine whether a transform skip is used in the transform block. In response to a determination that the transform skip is not used in the transform block, the processing circuitry is configured to perform a first transform coefficient sign prediction in which (i) first signs of a first plurality of transform coefficients are predicted based on a first plurality of neighboring samples, and (ii) second signs of a second plurality of transform coefficients are predicted based on a second plurality of neighboring samples. The processing circuitry is further configured to reconstruct the current block based on the first plurality of transform coefficients and the second plurality of transform coefficients.
