摘要: A method is provided for reducing a DC bias in a receiver. This method includes isolating a second circuit portion from a first circuit portion (535) and determining a second DC bias correction value for the second circuit portion that will eliminate a second DC bias at the isolated second circuit portion (540). The second circuit portion is then connected to the first circuit portion (550) and a bias-maximizing code word is generated at the first circuitry (505). A first DC bias correction value is then determined that will eliminate a first DC bias at the first circuit portion (555). The bias-maximizing code word is formed such that: a first integrated value of a first half of the bias-maximizing code word has a positive value, and a second integrated value of a second half of the bias-maximizing code word over half of the code word length has a negative value.

摘要: A method is provided for adjusting timing alignment in which a receiver generates a plurality of imbalanced correction codes (1310), and square waves both having the same frequency. The receiver mixes the imbalanced correction codes with the square waves to create a mixed signal (1320), and integrates the mixed signal over a correction code period to generate a signal power value (1330). The receiver adjusts a phase of the square wave in a first direction when the signal power value satisfies a first criterion (1340, 1350), and in a second direction when the signal power value satisfies a second criterion (1340, 1360). Each imbalanced correction code is symmetrical. And a total integrated value of one of the imbalanced correction codes over the correction code period is either above a first threshold, or below a second threshold, the first threshold being greater than or equal to the second threshold.

摘要: A method for optimizing delivery of digital information packets across a network of linked, packet switching nodes is disclosed. A suitably programmed computer translates business oriented requests into network technical requirements. The computer then uses knowledge including pre-stored or real-time discovered topographical maps of the network, and a database of the current attributes of the components of the network, to automatically determine settings for software addressable forwarding devices on the network to implement the network technical requirements, and then configures the network remotely via the software addressable switches at nodes on the network.

摘要: Techniques for interaction with lists are described. In implementations, a wrapped list window is presented in response to an item being selected that enables a user to navigate (e.g., via panning and/or scrolling) a list of items to view other selectable items. In at least some embodiments, a user can select the item and navigate the list via a single interaction. In implementations, a list separator is implemented in a wrapped list that delineates a separation between a last item in a list of items and a first item in the list. Further to implementations, logic is employed to determine whether to display a list of items as a linear list or a wrapped list. The logic can further specify rules for determining how to configure specific types of lists on a display screen.

摘要: A method of forming and electrical structure. The method includes determining that a first semiconductor device requires an engineering change order (ECO). An additional structure layer required to implement the ECO is determined. A first insertion point location for inserting the additional structure layer within the first semiconductor device is selected. The first insertion point location is associated with a second insertion point location within a design for a second semiconductor device. The second semiconductor device is generated in accordance with the first ECO. The second semiconductor device comprises second structures. The second structures comprise same structures as first structures in the first semiconductor device. The second structures are formed in locations within the second semiconductor device that are associated with locations in the first semiconductor device comprising the first structures. The second semiconductor device comprises the additional structure layer located within the second insertion point location.

摘要: A method is provided for updating an existing netlist to reflect a design change. A register transfer level (RTL) design incorporating the design change and the existing netlist are provided to a synthesis tool. The existing netlist is set to a read-only condition to prevent a change to the existing netlist. The design and the read-only existing netlist are processed with the synthesis tool reusing logic structures from the read-only existing netlist by performing an optimization of the design and the read-only existing netlist with an objective to minimize the design space. The optimization is constrained by the read-only existing netlist. A result is generated by the synthesis tool including the existing netlist and a new portion of a netlist reflecting the design change.

摘要: Wearable devices for dispensing insect repellents, fragrances, and/or other chemicals along the outside of the clothing of a human are disclosed. They are of the type that are clipped onto a belt or the like, and use a powered fan to dispense active. They are configured with fan rotor arrangements to minimize power use while still achieving acceptable air flow rates. These changes permit use of smaller batteries and more compact arrangements for battery positioning. This in turn permits a much more compact and lightweight construction to achieve the desired results. The devices are also provided with a rotatable clip structure to render use of the device more comfortable when the user is seated and to provide greater control over the direction of the dispensing. Further, they are provided with modified lids to facilitate active refill replacement.
