    摘要: This invention relates to a foam control composition comprising: (A) a silicone antifoam comprising (i) an organopolysiloxane having at least one silicon-bonded substituent of the formula X—Ar, wherein X represents a divalent aliphatic group bonded to silicon through a carbon atom and Ar represents an aromatic group, (ii) an organosilicon resin having the formula R1aSiO(4-a)/2 where R1 represents a hydrocarbon, a hydrocarbonoxy or a hydroxyl group and a has an average value of 0.5 to 2.4, and (iii) a hydrophobic filler; and (B) an organopolysiloxane resin having at least one polyoxyalkylene group in which the organopolysiloxane resin comprises tetrafunctional siloxane units having the formula SiO4/2 and monofunctional siloxane units having the formula R23SiO1/2, wherein the total number of tetrafunctional siloxane units in the resin is at least 50% based on the total number of siloxane units, and R2 represents a hydrocarbon group. The foam control composition may be added to a potentially foaming liquid, particularly a detergent, such as an HDL detergent.

    摘要: A foam control agent which is free from hydrocarbon oils and comprises (A) an organopolysiloxane with 0 to 60% of units (i) ##EQU1## wherein R denotes a C.sub.8 hydrocarbon group and a is 0-3, and 40 to 100% of units (ii) ##EQU2## wherein R" is --Z.sub.z --R' with R' being an C.sub.9-35 alkyl, Z is a linking group and z is 0 or 1, b 0, 1 or 2, c 1 or 2 and b+c 1, 2 or 3, provided more than 70% by weight of the carbon content of (A) is due to R", (B) a finely divided hydrophobic particulate material and (C) optionally a MQ organosilicon resin. The agents give improved performance and stability e.g. in detergent powders.

    摘要: A granulated foam control composition comprises a foam control agent based on a polydiorganosiloxane fluid, an organic additive of melting point 45″17C to 100° C. comprising a polyol ester, a water-soluble particulate inorganic carrier and a polymer having a net cationic charge. The mean number of carbon atoms in the organo groups of the polydiorganosiloxane fluid is at least 1.3. The foam control agent includes a hydrophobic filler dispersed in the polydiorganosiloxane fluid, and optionally an organosilicone resin. The polyol ester is miscible with the polydiorganosiloxane fluid.

    摘要: A granular material for use in the treating of textile materials, comprising (i) a silicone material having at least one nitrogen containing substituent, (ii) an aluminosilicate carrier and (iii) a binder, preferably in conjunction with a surface active material. Also described is a process for preparing such granular materials, which comprises forming a water-in-oil emulsion of component (i) in conjunction with component (iii) by dispersing and agitating said components in water, followed by depositing said emulsion onto a free flowing powder form of component (ii), for example by spraying, and removing sufficient water from the product to obtain a free flowing granular material. The granules are useful in a process of treating textile materials in an aqueous medium, particularly where the textile material is denim. Preferably the granular material is added into the finishing steps of denim such as the desizing, the fading or the softening steps and helps with avoiding backstaining.
