摘要： An electrical connector assembly comprises a first connector unit and a second connector. The first connector unit comprises a first connector having an insulative housing with a plurality of contacts mounted thereon. A printed circuit board, on which the first connector is seated, defines a pair of mounting sections at opposite ends thereof and locate adjacent to the first connector. An insulative cover is attached to a first surface of the printed circuit board which is opposite to the first connector. The insulative cover forms a pair of guiding posts retained in said mounting sections and a pair of stand-off sections located at opposite ends thereof for supporting the first connector during the mating process. A metallic cover is attached to the insulative cover. The second connector defines a pair of guiding apertures at opposite ends thereof for receiving said guiding posts.

摘要： A cable connector includes an insulative housing including two sidewalls and a mating slot defined between the two sidewalls, and a plurality of terminals received in the insulative housing. The terminals include contacting portions exposed to the mating slot and connecting portions behind a rear end of the insulating housing. The two sidewalls are loaded with a first row and a second row of the plurality of terminals respectively. The first row includes signal terminals and grounding terminals. A grounding plate is inserted in the insulating housing and between two rows of terminals. The grounding plate defines resilient arms and connecting legs, the resilient arms slant to the first row and touch with the grounding terminals.

摘要： An electrical connector for mating with a plug and mounting to a printed circuit board, includes an insulative housing defining a rear base and a front mating tongue, two rows of terminals received in the insulating housing and a shielding plate interposed between said two rows of the terminals. The terminals include contacting portions exposed upon opposite surfaces of the front mating tongue and board-connecting legs extending out of the rear base for mounting to the printed circuit board. The terminals are categorized with differential pairs of signal and grounding terminals mixed up with one another for coupling to the plug. The shielding plate includes at least one grounding finger split therefrom and a grounding leg for mounting to the printed circuit board. Each grounding finger is disposed between two adjacent differential pairs and parallel to the contacting portions of said terminals.

摘要： A card connector includes a main housing having a base portion, a pair of side walls and a bottom wall connecting with the base portion and side walls thereby defining a receiving cavity. Multiple groups of contact sets comprise at least one grounding contact. The contact sets have contacting portions projecting into the receiving cavity. A metallic shell covers a top side of the main housing and defines an insertion opening together with the main housing. A pair of guiders are floatably assembled on opposite sides of the insertion opening for guiding different sized cards. A grounding plate which is attached to a bottom side of the main housing, comprises a pair of flexible tangs respectively pressing against a bottom side of the guiders. The grounding plate further comprises a grounding section electrically contacting with the at least one grounding contact so as to establish a grounding path.

Each contact includes a contacting portion extending into the mating slot. Each metal hold down includes a first portion, a second portion perpendicular to the first portion and a connecting portion connecting the first portion and the second portion. The first portion defines a first hole, the second portion defines a second hole for maintaining solders, and the connecting portion defines a third hole connecting the first hole and the second hole. The first portion and the connecting portion are insert molded in the insulative housing with material of the insulative housing filling in the first and the third holes.
