The invention is particularly useful in lithographic inks including heatset, sheetfed and UV curable lithographic inks. The invention also includes novel additive that enable the preparation of inks with required viscosities that are needed to perform on high-speed printing presses with improved performance. The additive is based on reaction products of polyamines and carboxylic acids with two or more carboxylic moieties mixed or combined with tridecyl alcohol. In addition, the inventive additive is in the form of liquid and it is pourable and pumpable for ink manufacturing processes.
