摘要： A chamfering apparatus for opposing end faces of a tubular member. The apparatus includes an abutment member capable of advancing toward or being retracted from a line of extension of the longitudinal axis of the tubular material so as to collide with the end face when advanced, a conveyor for transporting the tubular member toward the abutment member, a chuck provided between the abutment member and conveyor for releasably holding the tubular member on the conveyor, and a cutting tool displaceable relative to the end face of the tubular member received by the abutment member and held by the chuck. The cutting tool is capable of rotating around the longitudinal axis of the tubular member. The cutting tool is equipped with a cutting member adapted to taper cut the outer peripheral edge of the end face as well as a drill having a first cutting edge adapted to taper cut the inner peripheral edge of the end face and a second cutting edge adapted to cut the end face perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the tubular member. The chamfering apparatus can be applied to tubular members of different lengths as the end face of each tubular member can be positioned precisely owing to the provision of the abutment member and conveyor and only two cutting tools are required to chamfer three locations on each end face of the tubular member.

摘要： The present invention relates to a connection structure for a printed wiring board to be electrically connected to a FPC. The FPC comprises a long substrate, a plurality of conductors laminated on the surface of the substrate and extending along an axial direction of the substrate. The printed wiring board comprises a planar main wiring board, an insertion opening, and a plurality of the through-hole terminals. Each of the conductors of the FPC abuts the through-hole terminal upon the insertion of the FPC into the insertion opening of the printed wiring board. According to the invention, a connector structure to be connected to FPC is provided inside the printed wiring board in order to mount circuit element in high density, and thus improve degree of freedom in designing wiring pattern.

摘要： A color printing apparatus is provided with a document moving mechanism for reciprocatably moving a color document four times, and a scanner for applying successively white, red, green, and blue lights to the color document during each of the forward movements to produce image signals representative of complementary colors of the color lights. A drum with a paper wound therearound rotates forwardly and reversely in synchronism with the reciprocal movement. At the time of the forward movement of the document and the forward rotation of the drum, the thermal head presses a color ink ribbon against the paper to thermally transfer the ink of the color ink ribbon to the paper. At the time of the reverse rotation of the drum, the thermal head is separated from the drum by means of a solenoid.

摘要： The present invention relates to a connection structure for a printed wiring board to be electrically connected to a FPC. The FPC has an elongated substrate, and plural conductors are laminated on a surface of the substrate for extending along an axial direction of the substrate. The printed wiring board has an insertion opening provided at an edge surface for being inserted by a top end portion of the FPC, and plural line connecting terminals formed on an internal wall surface of the insertion opening. The top end portion of the FPC has a slider including plural elastic deformable first contacts, and a first housing for holding the plurality of contacts. The FPC is inserted into the insertion opening of the printed wiring board such that one end of the first contact presses the conductor and the other end of the first contact presses the line connecting terminal. The FPC can be connected to the printed wiring board on an edge surface thereof, allowing circuit elements to be mounted in high density, and improving freedom in designing wiring patterns.

摘要： In an image forming apparatus according to the present invention, a plurality of image forming process units are aligned to face a horizontal transportation section of a paper transportation path. A transfer belt unit is provided to successfully transfer images formed on photoreceptor drums of the process units to a transfer medium. A flashlight device is interposed between each two adjacent process units. Developing agent images formed by means of the process units and transferred to the transfer medium are fixed to the medium by means of the flashlight devices. By doing this, a developing agent transferred to the transfer medium by means of a preceding process unit is fixed to the medium by means of its corresponding flashlight device. Thus, in an image forming process using a subsequent process unit, images can be securely superposed without causing the previously transferred developing agent to separate from the transfer medium.
