    摘要: An information processing apparatus includes the following elements. An image data acquisition unit acquires image data of a captured image including a code having a fixed area in which a predetermined fixed area code is formed and a variable area in which a variable area code formed by a combination of a plurality of codes is formed. A fixed area code recognition unit analyzes the captured image to recognize the predetermined fixed area code of the fixed area. A variable area code default value setting unit sets the default value of the variable area code based on the predetermined fixed area code. A variable area code recognition unit analyzes the captured image to recognize the variable area code. A comparator compares the variable area code with the default value to determine the difference therebetween. A command designation unit designates a command to be executed based on the difference.

    摘要: A signal transmitting apparatus which makes exchanging information when pouring a liquid possible. A container body 201 of a transmitter side container 20 holds an electrically conductive liquid 402. A display 306 for confirming data reception is attached to a container body 211 of a receiver side container 21. The container body 201 and the container body 211 are electrically connected at a predetermined impedance by the liquid 402. Because digital data is modulated by a carrier of approximately 10 MHz, an electromagnetic field is generated. In particular, a return line 404 due to an electromagnetic near field is generated, and communications from the transmitter side container 20 to the receiver side container 21 becomes possible.

    摘要: The present invention relates to communication systems and methods which allow the partner of communication to be easily specified. A portable telephone 52 is provided with a non-contact IC card which communicates with a reader/writer of a personal computer 51 by electromagnetic waves. When the non-contact IC card receives electromagnetic waves emitted by the reader/writer, the portable telephone 52 reports the card ID assigned to the non-contact IC card to the personal computer 51. The card ID includes the Bluetooth address of the portable telephone 52. When the personal computer 51 obtains the Bluetooth addresses of the portable telephone 52 and a PDA 53 at an inquiry, the personal computer 51 specifies the portable telephone 52 as a Bluetooth device with which synchronization is established, according to the Bluetooth address reported in advance. The present invention can be applied to information processing apparatuses such as personal computers and portable telephones.
