摘要： A film checking apparatus which picks up images of two master films placed on two transparent film tables, displays the obtained images thereof on a color monitor thereby allowing for checking of the master films. The apparatus aids the film checking by providing a device for comparing the master films, detecting for the differences and finally displaying the differences in a blinking manner. The apparatus also provides two light sources and a means to switching between the two light sources depending on whether the object is of transmissive-type or reflective-type.

摘要： A scanner set-up simulation unit is connected to a color scanner which comprises a reading head for reading an image information of the color original wound on a reading drum and for producing color separation signals, a first gradation correction circuit for correcting a gradation of the color separation signals, and an exposure head for exposing color separation films wound on a recording drum based on the corrected color separation signals output from the first gradation correcting circuit. The simulation unit comprises a level adjusting circuit for adjusting the white and black levels of the color separation signals, an IC memory for storing the color separation signals from the level adjusting circuit, a second gradation correction circuit for correcting a gradation of the color separation signals read out from the IC memory, and a color display for simulating and displaying a printed reproduction based on the corrected color separation signals from the second correcting means. After the gradation correction is ended, the corrected color separation signals from the second correcting means are supplied to the exposure head of the color scanner.

摘要： A film pasting apparatus for pasting a color separation film on a base film used for a photomechanical process, comprises a lower table for placing a base film and having optical sensors, an upper table disposed above the lower table and having suction means and pasting means, a film tray for storing a color separation film on which a first registration mark having two line segments defining a predetermined angle and a second registration mark having two line segments parallel to the two line segments of the first registration mark are formed at positions corresponding to the sensors, film picking means for inserting the film tray into the apparatus main body below the upper table to draw the color separation film to the upper table by the suction means, film registering means for withdrawing the film tray from the apparatus to detect the registration marks of the color separation film drawn to the upper table by using the sensors, for registering the color separation film based on a result of detection of the registration marks, and for placing the color separation film on the base film placed on the lower table, and means for operating the pasting means to paste the color separation film on the base film.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for correcting video signals are provided for printing simulation with a color monitor. Excellent mixed-color simulation can be performed in a printing process processing with a relatively high U.C.R.%. Mixed-color signals of secondary colors, a tertiary color, a quaternary color, black x primary colors, and black x secondary colors are detected from the signals (Y), (M), (C) and (K) for yellow Y, magenta M, cyan C and black K. The mixed-color signals are subjected to overlap compensation to provide overlap-compensated mixed-color signals. The signals (Y), (M), (C) and (K) are corrected using the overlap-compensated mixed-color signals so as to reduce color value of the mixed-colors in small portions. Printing simulation with a color monitor is facilitated. A correction/conversion method and an apparatus therefor are also provided which have a function of mixed-color correction and a function of converting the signals (Y), (M), (C) and (K) into signals (B), (G) and (R) for the color monitor.
