    摘要: A method and an apparatus for forcing a gas-solid two-phase substance are provided in which the amount of a gas returning to an ordinary-pressure side can be reduced to reduce the consumption of power necessary for gas compression. A solid raw material (a) stored at ordinary pressure is forced into a high-pressure vessel via a switch valve (4) in the following manner. The raw material (a) is accommodated into a rotary valve element (7) disposed in the switch valve (4). Thereafter, an entrained gas (c) present in interstices of raw material (a) is replaced with an incompressible fluid (d).

    摘要: An electrophoretic display device includes a pair of substrates, a pixel, a first electrode being formed on one of the substrates for the pixel, a second electrode being formed on the other of the substrates, and an electrophoretic element which is held between the first electrode and the second electrode. The pixel includes a pixel switching element which is connected to a scan line and a data line, a memory circuit which is connected to the pixel switching element, and a switch circuit which is interposed between the memory circuit and the first electrode. The memory circuit is connected with a first power source line and a second power source line, and the switch circuit is connected with a first control line and a second control line. The first power source line and the second power source line cross each other at a first position of the pixel, and the first control line and the second control line cross each other at a second position of the pixel.

    摘要: A gas hydrate slurry dewatering apparatus adapted to feed a raw as into a cylindrical main body of dewatering column so gas to attain pressurization and so suction any gas from the interior of a drainage chamber disposed around the cylindrical main body so as to attain depressurization. An internal tube (8) as a constituent of a dewatering apparatus (6) in which the gas hydrate slurry (S) is introduced is provided with a separating section (7). A drainage chamber (10) is formed by the internal tube (8) and, disposed with a given spacing therefrom, an external tube (9). An exhaust blower (B2) and a drainage pump (P2) are connected to the drainage chamber (10). A gas feed blower (B3) for a raw gas (G1) is connected to the internal tube (8). A differential pressure detector (x1) is provided for detecting any pressure difference between the interior of the internal tube (8) and the interior of the drainage chamber (10). Control of the exhaust blower (B2) and/or the gas feed blower (B3) is performed by the signal from the differential pressure detector (x1).

    摘要: A process is provided which includes: bringing a natural gas, e.g., methane gas or propane gas, or a mixture of these gases into gas-liquid contact with raw-material water to form a gas hydrate; compression-molding the gas hydrate into pellets; and cooling/depressurizing the pellets. Also provided is an apparatus for use in the process. In the cooling/depressurizing step 4, molded gas hydrate masses h3 in a pressurized state are cooled and depressurized to a downstream-side pressure. In the cooling/depressurizing step 4, a receiving chamber 15 which accommodates the gas hydrate masses h3 obtained in the molding step 3 is provided, and the masses h3 are depressurized to the downstream-side pressure while passing through the receiving chamber 15. The masses h3 are introduced into and immersed in a liquid refrigerant r packed in the receiving chamber 15 so that the masses h3 are cooled by solid/liquid contacting with the liquid refrigerant r.
