摘要： An air bag device comprises at the center a bag provided with a gas flowing orifice, a pad for receiving the bag in its folded state, an inflator arranged so as to permit gas to be jetted toward the gas flowing orifice of the bag and an inflator insertion hole into which a holding cylinder below the inflator can be inserted and further provided with a retainer for holding the inflator and the bag in their inner periphery and the pad in its outer periphery. The air bag device further includes a holding cloth surrounding the lower holding cylinder of the inflator and formed continuously below the gas flowing orifice of the bag, and a coupling is formed between the peripheral surface of the inflator and peripheral edge of the inflator insertion hole of the retainer.

摘要： An air bag device is arranged at an upper portion of a steering wheel body, and horn switch mechanisms are arranged between a mandrel of the steering wheel body and a bag holder of the air bag device. The mandrel comprises a plurality of brackets each having an engaging member which is opened at a lower portion thereof and which extends horizontally. Upward movement of the bag holder is restricted by mounting screws threadedly engaged with mounting holes in the bag holder, the screws extend from below the engaging members of the brackets. The bag holder is retained by the mandrel in a manner to be movable downwardly.

The printed layer is formed by hydraulic transfer and is arranged to cover surface portions of the core coating layer. The ring portion further includes a skin arranged at the remaining surface portions of the surface of the core coating layer and a level difference portion for folding therein the end portions of the skin arranged between the portion and the remainder of the surface of the core coating layer. The smooth decorative layer can be easily formed on the surface of the ring portion in this manner.

摘要： In a steering wheel with an air bag device, a horn pad is provided above the air bag device. The air bag device is arranged above a boss plate provided at the center of the steering wheel. Further, a horn switch mechanism operated by depressing the horn pad is provided. In the steering wheel, the horn pad is integral with a core covering portion of a steering wheel body, and a depressing plate is provided immediately below the horn pad. The air bag device is fixedly secured to the boss plate. The depressing plate is preferably substantially rigid, and is so shaped as to straddle the air bag. Resilient members resist the depression of the depressing plate, and pairs of contacts of the horn switch mechanism are provided between the depressing plate and the boss plate to actuate the horn.

The lock system comprises a fixing device slidably mounted on an upper surface of a boss plate. The fixing device includes an inwardly directed, tapered tongue or flange that when slid will engage and interact with the steering shaft. When the boss plate is mounted on the steering shaft provided about the circumference of a nut mounted on the steering shaft, the fixing device can then be moved with a screw bolt thereby interlocking the locking tongue or flange in the groove thereby locking the steering wheel on the steering shaft.
