摘要： Provided is a network that is constituted in a train formation; communication relay devices; terminal devices; and a position-information distribution device. The communication relay devices rewrite position information from the position-information distribution device to vehicle information indicating positions of vehicles that are provided with the communication relay devices and transfer rewritten information. The terminal devices include an IP-address correspondence table in which IP addresses that are set so as not to overlap with each other for respective types of the terminal devices and are to be used while corresponding to the vehicle information and connection destination information of the terminal devices correspond to each other. IP addresses to be allocated to the terminal devices are decided on the basis of the correspondence table and the vehicle information from the communication relay devices.

摘要： A communication apparatus for performing communication among cars of a train includes two or more connection ports, and two or more VLANs set through VLAN numbers in each connection port. When receiving a specific kind of packet for disabling the VLAN settings, the communication apparatus regards the set two or more VLANs as the same network with respect to the specific kind of packet and transfers the packet to a desired destination apparatus set in any one of the VLANs irrespective of the VLAN settings.

摘要： In a configuration where an apparatus network is connected to a backbone network at two points, a first apparatus and a first switch device are normally communicatively connected to each other and also communication between a second apparatus and a second switch device is normally disconnected. The first apparatus monitors the link state with the first switch device. The second apparatus queries the first apparatus about the link state. When the first apparatus and the first switch device are not communicatively connected to each other or when the second apparatus cannot communicate with the first apparatus via the apparatus network, the second apparatus cancels the disconnected state with the second switch device.
