Abstract: The present invention relates to compounds and methods for inducing synthesis and secretion of insulin from pancreatic beta cells. The methods may take place in vitro, ex vivo such as in isolates from adult mammalian tissue, or in vivo. Compounds and methods described herein may find use in the treatment of diabetes.
