摘要: Tumor responses to a therapy can be predicted in a more objective and quantitative fashion allowing doctors to make earlier determinations of how well a tumor is responding to therapy. If a patient were not responding well, valuable time could be saved and the patient could be switched to a more efficacious therapy. Tumor response predictions to therapy are determined from a combination of (i) the tumor volumes over time, (ii) the cellular proliferation over time and (iii) the cellular apoptosis over time.
