摘要： A lock has a cable engageable with a lock body. The cable has two ends, each of which has a cable neck. The lock has a shaft operatively engaged with a stack of clutches and a plurality of dials. The shaft has a top portion with a shaft slot engageable with the cable neck on the first cable end. The first cable end can be released from the lock body with a combination mechanism. The lock has a fixed cam having a cam slot engageable with the cable neck of the second cable end. The lock further comprises a blocking plate slideably engaged with the fixed cam, and a rotatable cam configured to control the positions of the blocking plate. The rotatable cam is connected to a cylinder operable with a key to rotate the rotatable cam to release the second cable end from the fixed cam slot.

摘要： An electronic combination lock has a touch panel for combination code entry. If the combination code matches a preset code, a solenoid in energized to unlock the lock, allowing a user to pull up the shackle to open the lock. The user can be a master user, a regular user or a temporary user with each type of users having different level of access. For example, the master user can have unlimited number of times to use the master combination code, while a temporary user has only a limited number of times to use its temporary code as designated by the master user. In one embodiment, the lock can be opened with a key. In another embodiment, the user can enter the combination code from a detached electronic device.

摘要： A padlock with a dual unlocking system, namely, a key mechanism and a combination mechanism. The key mechanism has a bolt or latch passing through a pole/pole cover secured around a portion of a shackle, the bolt in contact with the shackle so as to prevent movement of the shackle relative to the key mechanism when the key mechanism is in a locked state. The bolt/latch is able to move relative to the shackle to allow the shackle to move relative to the housing and pole so as to release the toe of the shackle from the housing when the key mechanism is in an unlocked state. The combination mechanism allows clutches to move relative to the housing into a lock open position when dials are in an opening combination that allows the pole to move relative to the housing so as to release the toe.

When the control plate is positioned in a blocking position, the control plate blocks access to the key hole of the key mechanism. 摘要： A padlock is provided that can be locked and unlocked using a combination mechanism or a key mechanism. A padlock includes clutches that will not be turned during the lock mode or the open mode. A lock body has more than one slot to engage an extended fin of the clutch in the lock mode. An opening slot and faulty notches are located in each of the dials. In the lock mode, the turning of the dials will have no effect on the clutches. Each extended fin of the clutch is engaged in a slot of the lock body in the lock mode. The faulty notches on the dials are clearer and an intruder cannot feel the correct opening slot by turning dials to pick the combination.

摘要： A combination lock having a plurality of dials and clutches arranged to control a lock shackle is disclosed. Each of the dials is mounted on a different clutch to form a dial-clutch pair. The clutch has a protrusion and the dial has an open slot dimensioned to receive a protrusion and a plurality of faulty notches. The protrusion is so located that when the lock is in the lock mode, the protrusion in each of the dial-clutch pairs is disengaged from the open slot, allowing the dial to rotate relative to the clutch. Since the clutches do not turn along with the dials and the faulty notches look similar to the open slot, it would be difficult for an intruder to pick the lock by peeking the protrusion of the clutches while rotating the dials.

摘要： The present invention is directed to exemplary embodiments of a combination disc padlock that may include a housing, a shackle positioned within a portion of the housing, the shackle having a curved shape with a first end that is never released from the housing and a second end that may be exposed from the housing when the padlock is in an unlocked configuration. The padlock may include a mechanism or other structure formed on or connected to the shackle that facilitates movement of the shackle between a closed position and an open position. The padlock may include a reset mechanism that prevents a user from accidentally changing a combination code of the padlock when the padlock is in the unlocked configuration, thereby requiring that the padlock be put into a reset mode in order to change the combination code.

摘要： A zipper lock has two locking members to secure two zipper pulls of a suitcase and a control plate to cause the locking member to disengage from the zipper pulls. The lock has a latch engaged with the control plate, the latch positionable in a first latch position when the lock is in a locked mode or in a second latch position to open the lock. The lock has a combination mechanism using dials and clutches to control the movement of a spindle which allows the latch to move the second latch position when the arrangement of the dials matches the correct combination code. The lock also has a key-overriding mechanism using a cylinder to cause the movement of the latch when a correct key is used to turn the cylinder to open the lock. A recovery mechanism allows a user to recover the lost combination code.
