Abstract: A lock apparatus generally includes a connecting portion, a housing, a primary lock, and a secondary lock. The connecting portion is engageable to the housing with a bolt assembly, and the primary lock locks the bolt assembly in the engaged position. The secondary lock arrests the bolt assembly in the engaged and locked condition in response to an attack that displaces the primary lock from a nominal configuration.

Abstract: A keyed or combination cable lock for securing one or more cables or a lock shackle is presented. The lock secures one or both ends of a single cable or one end each of two separate cables when locked. Alternatively, the lock can secure one or both ends of a lock shackle. When the lock is unlocked, the secured ends can be removed from the lock by activation of a control knob. The lock is also able to a secure a section of a single slidable cable or two sections of a single slidable cable so that the lock can be slid down the slidable cable[s] in first direction when the lock is locked or unlocked, but the lock can be slid down the slidable cable[s] in the opposite direction only when the lock is unlocked and a control knob is activated.

Abstract: A padlock having a removable or interchangeable shackle is disclosed. The padlock comprises a lock body and a shackle, the shackle being movable in an axial direction between a locked position and an unlocked position, the short leg being withdrawn from the lock body in the unlocked position. The padlock also comprises a retaining shaft receivable within a corresponding bore of the lock body, wherein the long leg includes a longitudinal recess for providing a travel path for the movement of the shackle from a locked position defined by the retaining shaft engaging a first end of the longitudinal recess to an unlocked position defined by the retaining shaft engaging a second end of the longitudinal recess to prevent the shackle from being removed from the lock body when the shackle is in the unlocked position.

Abstract: A padlock comprising a lock body; a U-shaped lock hoop that has a circular cross-section, that is displaceably held at the lock body between a closed position and an open position, and that has a first hoop limb and a second hoop limb that is longer than the first hoop limb; and a locking device in the lock body for locking the lock hoop to the lock body in the closed position of the lock hoop. The locking device comprises at least one latch element and can be adjusted between a locked position, in which the latch element engages into an engagement recess in the closed position of the lock hoop, said engagement recess being formed in a flank of the second hoop limb facing the first hoop limb, and an unlocked position in which the latch element is located outside the engagement recess. In the second hoop limb, a peripheral groove is formed which is located closer to the free end of the second hoop limb than the engagement recess and into which the latch element engages in the open position of the lock hoop. The second hoop limb has a passage that extends between the free end of the second hoop limb and the peripheral groove and that has a surface that is recessed with respect to the circular cross-section of the lock hoop. The second hoop limb receives a blocking element between its free end and the peripheral groove, said blocking element projecting over the recessed surface of the passage in order to prevent, in the open position of the lock hoop, a passing of the latch element through the passage, starting from the peripheral groove.

In the present invention, the key case is opened automatically in an electronic lock manner, thereby being easier to use, providing a securer lock structure, and avoiding undesirably opening.

Abstract: This invention involves a novel method, device, system and apparatus to receive return or exchange goods and services at one's doorstep securely. The invention involves a novel security apparatus and a parcel receptacle. The security apparatus is connectable to any fixture, including to one or more parcel receptacles. The parcel receptacles can be of many types. The parcel receptacles can be secured via a physical cable and a security apparatus, or secured via connectivity to the wireless network of a parcel recipient. The parcel receptacles can also be secured via a novel GPS module, accelerometer and other technological devices inside parcel receptacle. The locking mechanism in the security apparatus and/or on the parcel receptacle can be of technological in nature using the latest advancements in wireless technology, or alternatively, involve simple physical lock and key mechanisms. The apparatus allows access to parcels to authenticated users only, and involve many safety features including an audible alarm and other tamper-proof mechanisms to ensure safety of parcels.

Abstract: A theft deterrent system for an electronics cabinet may include a first hasp, which may include a plurality of studs extending from a surface thereof. At least one stud of the plurality of studs may be dimensioned to engage with a padlock ring of the electronics cabinet. The first hasp may have a tab having a shackle hole therein. The theft deterrent system may include a second hasp, which may include a plurality of holes dimensioned to receive a respective one of the plurality of studs. The second hasp may also have a tab having a shackle hole therein. The system may further include a shield retainer dimensioned to surround at least portions of the first hasp and the second hasp. To secure the electronics cabinet, a shackle of a hidden shackle lock may be fed through the shackle holes and the hidden shackle lock may then be locked.
