    摘要： A binder which is water-dilutable on protonation with acid and obtainable by a reaction of(A) an epoxy resin having an average molecular weight of from 300 to 6,000 and on average from 1.5 to 3.0 epoxide groups per molecule and(B) from 20 to 30 mol %, based on the amount of epoxide groups present in epoxy resin (A), of one or more secondary amine and/or alkanolamine of up to 40 carbon atomsand subsequent reaction with(C) a copolymer which is based on butadiene and acrylonitrile and contains primary and/or secondary amino groups, the amount of (C) being so dimensioned that the number of primary and secondary amino groups corresponds to from 1 to 50 mol % of the epoxide groups present in the epoxy resin (A), and also(D) with one or more primary and/or secondary amine to convert any epoxide groups still present, is usedin particular for cathodic electrocoating.

    摘要： A synthetic resin which carries basic nitrogen groups and is water-dilutable by protonation with an acid, containing(A) a chain-extended, amine-modified epoxy resin obtainable by reacting(a.sub.1) an epoxy resin having an average molecular weight M.sub.n of from 300 to 6,000 and on average from 1.5 to 3.0 epoxy groups per molecule with(a.sub.2) a diketimine of a diprimary diamine, which diprimary diamine contains no further groups reactive with epoxy groups under mild conditions and(B) an amino-modified epoxy resin obtainable by reactingb.sub.1) an epoxy resin having an average molecular weight M.sub.n of from 800 to 6,000 and on average from 1.5 to 3.0 epoxy groups per molecule with(b.sub.2) a secondary amine or a secondary-tertiary diamine, a ketimine of a primary monoamine or a ketimine of a primary/tertiary diamine or a mixture of these (b.sub.2) components, with the proviso that (A) and (B) are different.

    摘要： Binders which are rendered water-dilutable by protonation with an acid, a process for their preparation and their use.These binders are obtainable by reacting a(A) Reaction product of a(a) carboxyl-containing component, consisting of a(a1) carboxyl-containing butadiene/acrylonitrile copolymer having a molecular weight of from 500 to 8,000, if necessary as a mixture with(a2) a dicarboxylic acid which differs from (a1) and, if appropriate,(a3) a monocarboxylic acid and(b) a diprimary and/or primary/secondary amine, with the proviso that from 0.7 to 5 moles of the said amine are used per mole of carboxyl groups of component (a), with one or more(B) epoxy resins having a mean molecular weight from 300 to 6,000 and containing on average from 1.5 to 3.0 epoxide groups per molecule and, if required,(C) an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic secondary amine.In combination with a crosslinking agent, they are useful as coating materials, in particular for cathodic electrocoating.

    摘要： A synthetic resin which contains quaternary ammonium groups, and its preparation.The water-dilutable synthetic resin which contains quaternary ammonium groups and furthermore contains one or more basic secondary and/or tertiary amino groups per quaternary ammonium group is an adduct of(A) a quaternary ammonium salt which is obtained by reacting(a) an organic compound containing two or more basic amino groups per molecule, one of which is a primary group and is protected as a ketimine by prior reaction with a ketone, and the remaining groups are tertiary groups, with(b) an organic or inorganic acid and(c) a monoepoxide compound, and, if necessary, then eliminating the ketone hydrolytically,(B) a resin which contains on average from 1.5 to 3.0 epoxide groups per molecule, and, if required,(C) one or more monofunctional organic compounds whose functional group is capable of undergoing an addition reaction with an epoxide.This synthetic resin is suitable as a binder and a grinding resin for cathodic electrocoating.
