摘要： A fermentation process for preparing staurosporine, a known antibiotic, employing a heretofore unknown micrrorganism is described, said microorganism being classified as a novel strain of Streptomyces hygroscopicus being and herein designated Streptomyces hygroscopicus strain C39280-450-9 (ATCC 53730).
