摘要: The present dispensing closure system includes a closure base, which can be configured for securement to an associated container, and a lid hingedly connected to the closure base for movement between closed and open positions, wherein in the closed position of the lid, the lid coacts to close and seal a dispensing orifice defined by the closure base. Convenient manipulation of the lid between its closed and open positions is facilitated by the provision of a sliding element mounted on the closure base for sliding, reciprocable movement generally laterally of the closure base. Notably, the sliding element includes a latch portion which coacts with the lid to positively retain the lid in its closed position until manipulation of the sliding element by a user to unlatch the lid. The sliding element includes one or more camming surfaces which coact with the lid to urge it from its closed position to its open position.

摘要: A tamper-evident closure (40) is provided for a container. In one particular embodiment, the closure (40) has a body (42) and a hinged lid (44), and has the following additional features as next described. A tamper-indicating tab (120) is connected to the lid (44) by a frangible junction (130). A pressing member (150) is connected to the closure body (42) for movement from an initial unactuated configuration and to an inwardly deformed, actuated configuration. A post (170) is provided on either the pressing member (150) or tab (120), and a slot (140) is defined in the other of the pressing member (150) and tab (120), wherein the slot (140) non-releasably receives the post (170) when the lid (44) is first closed. The closure body (42) also has an inwardly located retention wall (160) defining an aperture (164). When the pressing member (150) is pressed inwardly, the frangible junction (130) is broken to allow the lid (44) to be lifted, and an end portion of the post (170) is non-releasably received in the retention wall aperture (164).

摘要: A musical toy includes a wheel with a cylindrical face comprised of a magnetic sheet layer, a printed graphic and a top perforated layer such that when combined they form a radial array of rows of receiving recesses each preceded by a sequence indicator such as a number. These recesses are positioned to receive metal note balls by means of an upper housing containing lettered slots that correspond to the lettered columns of the musical analog in the songbook. The tubes of the upper housing are kept in alignment with the receiving recesses by a ratchet system that allows for controlled sequential advancement of the wheel. When the note balls are placed at predetermined locations corresponding with the locations of notes on the represented staff, they fall down a tube and are guided and into the corresponding lettered recess for that position on the wheel face. The note balls are retained by the magnetic attraction provided by the magnet sheet in the wheel assembly. When a motor is engaged to rotate the wheel assembly, switch operators extending down from upper housing contact the note balls to play the music so represented by their location in the staff and note configuration. A magnetic wand is provided for quick, convenient removal of the note balls to reset the toy for another song assembly.
