    摘要: An object of the present invention is to enable the configuration tasks needed to form a wireless LAN to be performed using a simple method while increasing security during such configuration. In a wireless network configuration system GH1 including an encryption key setting system LH1, where an access point 20 determines after the power thereto is turned ON that configuration for connection to a wireless LAN has not yet be carried out, the access point 20 activates a restricted receiving mode in which only an initial configuration packet is accepted.     摘要: The invention intends to achieve new additions of terminals that use a wireless LAN with a simple process, while preventing leakage of data indicating cipher keys. The access point is notified of the cipher systems adaptable to the terminals. The access point narrows the cipher systems adaptable to itself, sets the cipher keys and notifies them, and also determines the station IDs for the cipher keys each. Thereafter, when the access point modifies the cipher systems based on the security policy, the access point adopts the station IDs corresponding to the cipher systems each. Therefore, the terminals specify the cipher systems based on the station IDs, and perform wireless communications by using the cipher keys notified in advance.

    摘要: In an encryption key setting system of the present invention, in response to an operation of a registration button 127, an access point 20 restricts the coverage of radio wave transmitted from the access point 20 from a general radio communication area AR1 to a narrower security communication area MR1. The access point 20 subsequently delivers a WEP key to a terminal 50, confirms the successful delivery, and registers a MAC address of the terminal 50. The terminal 50 sets the delivered WEP key in itself. This arrangement desirably allows for new enrollment of a terminal for a wireless LAN by a simple method, while effectively preventing leakage of data representing an encryption key.

    摘要: In a detector device 10 of the invention, a wave detection module 20 receives and detects radio wave in a predetermined frequency band, which is used by a target wireless communication device for telecommunication. An extraction module 30 extracts a pattern representing a time-series variation in presence or absence of the detected radio wave. An identification module 40 compares the extracted pattern with inherent patterns of radio wave transmitted from plural devices, which use the radio wave in the predetermined frequency band and include the target wireless communication device, and thereby identifies the propagation environment of the radio wave transmitted from the target wireless communication device. A display module 50 displays a result of the identification by changing lighting statuses of LEDs. When smooth telecommunication of a wireless communication device is interrupted, this arrangement of the invention desirably identifies the reason of the interrupted communication.

    摘要: By providing registers for each block constituting the flash memory, based on the use state and the erase count information stored in the registers, the plurality of blocks are classified into n groups according to the erase count by the control circuit, and of the blocks that can be used for writing of one classified group, writing of data is performed in the block constitution sequence. When all the blocks of one group are used, data is written to blocks that can be used for writing of another group selected in a specified sequence. Sequentially between n groups, the item in charge for selecting the blocks used for data writing are alternated, and data is written to the selected block. As a result, considering leveling of the flash memory block erase count, it is possible to perform the write capability block selection process using hardware.

    摘要: The present invention addresses a problem that switching antennas along with an unexpected variation of a received electrical field strength brings about a loss over a long period of data transmission. According to a wireless LAN transceiver in which the present invention is implemented, when a data throughput attained by an application layer poses no problem, switching antennas is disabled. Consequently, the data throughput can be kept satisfactory. Namely, since whether the antennas are switched is not determined with an unexpected variation of an RSSI signal or an error rate in a lower layer, unnecessary switching of the antennas can be prevented. A loss derived from the switching of the antennas can be minimized over a long period of time.
