摘要: A work area setting and managing system which enables a operator to plan and manage work in a work area and set and store the work area at just the mobile work machine side at the work site is provided. The system is applied to a mobile work machine 11 performing land mine disposal work in the work area and provided with a GPS 3D position finding system and a tablet computer 62 having a display unit 63, input unit 64, and memory 65. This system is provided with a first means for displaying a work monitor screen 90 on a screen of the display unit, a second means for displaying a symbol of the mobile work machine on the work monitor screen based on positional coordinates of an attachment of the mobile work machine obtained by the GPS 3D position finding system, and a third means for preparing a work area based on an input operation of a operator using as the origin the symbol displayed on the work monitor screen and displaying a work area block model showing the work area.

摘要: When a plurality of pages of image data are combined into one page of image data for transmission, the direct combination of the image data having different resolutions and the resulting recording of the image data on one record sheet while the image is partially expanded or reduced are prevented. In combining two pages of image data into one page of image data for transmission within a range in which the number of read lines of read image data does not exceed the number of available lines for recording per page at a transmission destination terminal, if the read resolutions of both image data are equal, the two pages of image data are combined into one page of image data for transmission, and if the read resolutions are different, the combination is not conducted and the image data of the respective pages are transmitted as the independent pages of image data. A facsimile apparatus minimizes the possibility of transmission disable due to a full state of a memory when a plurality of pages of image data having short sub-scan lengths stored in the memory are transmitted. The image data acquired by reading a document sheet by a contact sensor 13 is compression-coded by an encoder 103 of a read/write codec device 10 and it is stored in an image memory 6. After a plurality of pages of image data having short sub-scan lengths have been stored in the image memory 6, the image data are combined into one page of image data on a communication protocol and it is transmitted to a transmission destination apparatus through a modem 17 and a network control unit 18. When it is detected that a remaining capacity of the image memory 6 is small, the combination transmission of the image data is canceled and the image data stored in the image memory 6 is immediately read and transmitted.

摘要: Remote data entry is performed in such a manner that a plurality of entry items and a plurality of data items are caused to collectively enter within one communication and the check sum is calculated simultaneously with the data entry so that abnormality of the data is easily detected even if the contents of the entry data are changed due to the abnormality occurring in a facsimile apparatus. Data is collectively stored in a receiving buffer and a great quantity of data is caused to remote enter if the capacity of the buffer permits. After all remote data entries have been completed, the check sums of all entry memory regions are performed so that the memory capacity of the program code of the check sum is saved.

摘要: A network system in which a proxy web service process performed by a device on behalf of a network device can be continued while maintaining a reduced power consumption state of the network device, without requiring these devices to be installed on the same subnet. When in a sleep state, the network device redirects a web service request received from a PC to an external device. The external device sends a web service response to the web service request in which addresses of the external device are designated as a reference destination of data contained in the web service response, to the network device. The network device sends the web service response to the network terminal.

摘要: In case of reading an original of plural pages and collectively transmitting the successive short length pages as one page, the number of transmitted pages recorded on a transmission record list becomes different from the number of read pages, so that it is difficult for a user to judge, from such list, whether all the pages have been transmitted. In case the number of actually transmitted pages is different from the number of read or received pages stored in the second RAM, the user can select in advance, by a key depression on a keyboard, whether to record both the number of actually transmitted pages and the number of read or received pages stored in the second RAM or to record either one of the numbers, as the number of pages to be recorded on the transmission result list. In case of storing image data of plural pages of original read by a contact sensor in an image memory and collectively transmitting the image data of successive plural pages, stored in the image memory, as one page, judging from the recordable number of lines at the receiving side, a CPU causes a display unit to display both the number of actually transmitted page number and the number of read page included in the transmitted pages.
