    摘要: A subject lens is held by two chuck shafts, which are rotated synchronously by pulse motors during a grinding operation. Chamfering and other grinding wheels are mounted on a rotary shaft of a lens grinding part. A desired grinding wheel for each processing is selected by moving the rotary shaft vertically. In the case of rough processing, the rotary shaft is moved by a pulse motor toward the center of the chuck shafts based on lens frame shape data. In the case of chamfering, the rotary shaft is moved toward the center of the chuck shafts as well as vertically based on chamfering data. To produce part of the chamfering data, a lens measuring section measures the shapes of the front and rear surfaces of the subject lens.

    摘要: A lens grinding apparatus is improved to ensure that the angular edge portions of an eyeglass lens are easily ground to a desired shape. The improved lens grinding apparatus includes an input device for entering data on the processing shape of the lens, a detector for detecting the edge position of the lens on the basis of the entered shape data, a first calculator for determining processing data on the rough and fine processings of the lens on the basis of the detected edge position and the entered shape data, an angular edge portion processor which has a grinding wheel to process the angular edge portions of the finely processed lens and which moves the shaft of said grinding wheel relative to a shaft holding the lens, a second calculator which sets a plurality of zones of the lens and which performs different calculations in different zones such that the amount of processing the angular edge portions is determined in correspondence with the radius vector angle of the lens, and a controller for controlling the processing of the lens on the basis of the results of calculation by said first and second calculators.

    摘要: An eyeglass lens grinding machine, which is designed to effectively utilize the grinding capability of abrasive wheels so as to perform efficient grinding operations. The eyeglass lens grinding machine includes a lens rotating section which holds and rotates a lens to be processed, an abrasive wheel rotating section which rotates an abrasive wheel for grinding the lens on its own axis, an abrasive wheel's rotational state detecting section which detects the state of rotation of the abrasive wheel caused by the abrasive wheel rotating section, and a rotation control section which variably changes the rotation of the lens rotating section on the basis of the result of the detection. The rotation control section issues a command to either stop or slow down the rotation of the lens if the load on the rotation of the abrasive wheel exceeds a predetermined reference level and issues a command to have the lens rotation return to the initial state if the load becomes lower than the reference level.

    摘要: An eyeglass lens processing system, including: a data input unit, which inputs frame shape data for processing a lens to be fitted to an eyeglass frame and layout data for providing a layout of the lens with respect to a frame shape; a lens processing unit, having two shafts for clamping the lens, for grinding a periphery of the lens; a first conveying unit, which conveys a tray on which the lens is placed and to which a management code is applied, the management code interrelating the lens placed on the tray to the data inputted by the data input unit; a lens measuring unit, which obtains at least an optical center position of the lens; a second conveying unit that picks and holds the lens, disposes the lens at a predetermined position of the lens measuring unit, and mounts the lens to the shafts of the lens processing unit after measurement by the lens measuring unit; and an arithmetic unit, which obtains processing data based on: (1) data, read out based on the management code applied to the tray from the data inputted by the data input unit, and (2) measurement data obtained by the lens measuring unit, the arithmetic unit being connected to the lens processing unit.

    摘要: There is provided a linear actuator provided with a dust-proof mechanism capable of preventing dust-proof belts from being deformed, improving a sealing performance between the dust-proof belts and a housing member, and achieving high dust-proof performance irrespective of a size of the linear actuator. The linear actuator provided with the dust-proof mechanism includes: a housing member disposed so as to cover at least a ball screw; an opening portion formed in the housing member so as to extend along a moving locus of a movable stage; and dust-proof belts stretched inside the housing member so as to close the opening portion by being mounted to mounting members disposed both end portions of the housing member, wherein a bypass member for bypassing the dust-proof belts positioned at position overlapped with the movable stage is provided for the movable stage so as to realize movement of the movable member along the opening portion while closing and sealing the opening portion by the dust-proof belts, and in such a linear actuator provided with the dust-proof mechanism, the dust-proof belts are wound up around the mounting member and sandwiched between the mounting member and the end portions of the housing member.
