    摘要: A fuse includes a meltable and conductive metal element mainly containing Cu and having a blowout portion, and a low-melting-point metal chip fixed at the blowout portion. The low-melting-point metal chip comprises a Sn-Cu alloy. Preferably, the low-melting-point metal chip comprises an alloy containing 0.5 to 3.5% by weight of Cu and all the residual content of Sn. Also preferably, the low-melting-point metal chip comprises an alloy containing 0.5 to 3.5% by weight of Cu, 1.0 to 6.0% by weight of Sb and all the residual content of Sn.

    摘要: The present invention provides a delayed-fusion fuse by which its predetermined durability can be reliably ensured, and its stable pre-arcing time-current characteristics can be obtained, even when a current exceeding the steady-state current such as a motor lock current frequently flows in the fuse. The delayed-fusion fuse includes a pair of electric connecting sections formed on both sides of a fusible section having a narrow fusing portion made of an electrically conductive metal. Also, the delayed-fusion fuse includes a metallic chip made of low fusing point metal for absorbing heat generated in the fusible section, and a covering and adhering section for holding the metallic chip on the fusible section. A thin metallic layer forms a solid solution with the low fusing point metal, where the solid solution requires an energy of formation which is higher than that of the formation of a solid solution made of the electrically conductive metal and the low fusing point metal. This thin metallic layer is interposed between a surface of the covering and adhering section and a surface of the low fusing point metallic chip. Specifically, the thin metallic layer is provided on a surface of the fusible section in the form of a plating layer.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a connection box for plural kinds of fusible links each having different dimensions wherein the connection box is constructed in such a manner as to allow the respective fusible links to be firmly fitted to the connection box with excellent stability. The connection box for plural kinds of fusible links is integrally molded of a heat-resisting synthetic resin and includes a horizontal box-shaped portion and a vertical wall portion as essential components. An opposing pair of common slots are formed through a bottom wall of the horizontal box-shaped portion while extending not only in parallel with each other but also in parallel with the opposite side walls defining a peripheral wall of the horizontal box-shaped portion. The interior of the peripheral wall is stepwise recessed so an to enable plural kinds of fusible links each having different dimensions to be received therein. In the shown case, two kinds of inner peripheral walls are formed inside of the peripheral wall of the horizontal box-shaped portion so as to receive two kinds of housings for the fusible links herein.

    摘要: Disclosure is a fusible link which prevents a housing from being deformed and discolored due to unnecessary generation of heat in a fuse element. In the fusible link, each of connecting plates includes two elastic engagement pieces and two projections respectively in each of ribs which are formed by folding the two ends of the connecting plate. A housing includes, in the inner wall of a connecting plate insertion hole through which the connecting plate is inserted, a connecting plate slip-off preventive stepped portion to be engaged by the elastic engagement piece and a connecting plate slip-off preventive flange against which the preventive projection is abutted. When the connecting plate is inserted through the connecting plate insertion hole, the engagement portions in the connecting plate are engaged with engagement portions in the housing respectively.

    摘要: A socket contact is constituted by a general tubular-shaped body and a pair of opposed resilient members formed by splitting the front portion of the general tubular body with a pair of slits. One of the opposed resilient members has an inner surface having a pair of contacting portions at the predetermined peripheral intervals. The other opposed resilient member has an inner surface having a contact portion in confronting relation with a peripheral center of the pair of contacting portions of the one of the opposed resilient members. As a result, it is possible to clamp a male contact to be inserted stably between the opposed resilient members and then to keep a posture of the male contact with high contact pressure against the male contact.

    摘要: A connector is disclosed wherein a flexible retaining piece for engagement with a terminal is disposed in a terminal receiving chamber of a housing body, and a spacer for preventing the flexing of the flexible retaining piece is inserted into a gap which allows the flexing of said flexible retaining piece. The abutment wall is provided in the housing body in opposed relation to a side surface of the flexible retaining piece. The spacer is provided in the gap so as to slide in a direction perpendicular to the side surface of the flexible retaining piece. Engaging holes and flexure prevention portions for the flexible retaining pieces are provided on the spacer and are arranged in the direction of slide of the spacer.
