摘要： A cylinder cleaning apparatus for a printing press includes a cleaning cloth, a plate, and a cylinder and a rod. The cleaning cloth is brought into contact with the circumferential surface of a blanket cylinder to wipe a foreign matter on the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder. The plate is arranged to oppose the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder through the cleaning cloth, is deformed in accordance with a radius of curvature of the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder, and has a reaction force against the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder. The cylinder and the rod press the plate against the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder, thereby bringing the cleaning cloth into contact with the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder at a predetermined contact pressure.

The cleaning web take-up roll takes up a cleaning web supplied from a cleaning web supply roll to clean a circumferential surface of a cylinder. The constant amount feed mechanism takes up a constant amount of the cleaning web on the take-up roll regardless of an amount of the cleaning web taken up by the take-up roll. The unit throw-on/throw-off actuator and the actuator drive to rotate the take-up roll in taking up the cleaning web. The plate and bolts adjust a pivot amount of the take-up roll on which the constant amount of the cleaning web is taken up by the constant amount feed mechanism.

摘要： A printing cylinder/roller cleaning apparatus for a printing press includes a brush roll, a cleaning cloth, a nozzle, and a scraping member. The brush roll is pressed against the circumferential surface of a rotating printing cylinder/roller to scrape contamination therefrom. The cleaning cloth is provided below the brush roll and pressed against the circumferential surface of the printing cylinder/roller to wipe scraped contamination. The nozzle has a plurality of spray holes to spray a solvent onto the brush roll. The scraping member is engaged with a lower end of the brush roll to cause a waste liquid attaching to the brush roll to drop onto the cleaning cloth.A method of cleaning the printing cylinder/roller is also provided.

摘要： A cleaning apparatus for a rotary printing press includes a cleaning blade, a cleaning cloth, and a cleaning unit and air cylinders, or an air cylinder, a guide shift mechanism, and a cleaning cloth travel mechanism. The cleaning blade has a distal end portion which abuts against the circumferential surface of an oscillating roller during a cleaning operation to scrape a waste ink, and a rear surface continuous to the distal end portion to guide the scraped waste ink downward. The cleaning cloth travels during the cleaning operation done by the cleaning blade to collect the waste ink scraped by the cleaning blade. The cleaning unit and air cylinders, or the air cylinder, the guide shift mechanism, and the cleaning cloth travel mechanism bring the cleaning cloth into contact with the rear surface of the cleaning blade, when the distal end portion of the cleaning blade is in contact with the circumferential surface of the oscillating roller, to collect the waste ink on the cleaning blade.

摘要： A cylinder cleaning apparatus for a printing press includes a cleaning unit, an actuator, another actuator, and a control unit. The cleaning unit is supported by a printing press frame to be movable between a cleaning position where a cleaning web is in contact with a circumferential surface of a cylinder and a retreat position where the cleaning web is separate from the circumferential surface of the cylinder. Another actuator moves the cleaning unit to one of the cleaning position and the retreat position in accordance with whether the cylinder is in a first or second cleaning mode. The control unit controls at least one of the two actuators in accordance with a position of the cleaning unit to set take-up amounts of the cleaning web to be taken up by the take-up roll in the first and second cleaning modes to be substantially equal to each other.
