摘要: A gravure plate useful in forming a light-emitting layer and/or a hole-injection layer of an organic light-emitting device has a plurality of cells in the shape of stripes, and non-cell portions between the cells. The proportion of the width b of each cell measured in the direction of printing to the width a of each cell measured in the direction perpendicular to the direction of printing, b/a, is 0.6 or more, and the proportion of the length L of each cell to the length S of each non-cell portion, L/S, is from 0.8 to 100. The length L of each cell is from 10 to 500 μm, the length S of each non-cell portion is from 2 to 500 μm, and the depth of the gravure plate is from 20 to 200 μm.

摘要: A method for the formation of a luminescent layer having a uniform thickness in a desired pattern and an organic electroluminescent device that can realize high-quality display and is highly reliable. The luminescent layer is formed by providing a blanket having a resin film having a surface tension of not less than 35 dynes/cm as a surface layer and an ink for a luminescent layer, having a viscosity (ink temperature 23° C.) in the range of 5 to 200 cP as measured at a shear rate of 100/sec, and containing a solvent having a surface tension of not more than 40 dynes/cm and a boiling temperature in the range of 150 to 250° C., filling the ink into cells in a gravure form, allowing the blanket to receive the ink from the cells, and transferring the ink on the blanket onto a luminescent layer forming face.

摘要: A luminescence display panel 20 includes: a flexible transparent substrate 1; a transparent electrode 3 formed on the transparent substrate 1, over a luminescence region and a non-luminescence region; and auxiliary electrodes 5a and 5b formed on the transparent electrode 3, over the non-luminescence region. Electric insulation layers 7a, 7c, and 7d are formed over the non-luminescence region of the transparent electrode 3, so as to cover the auxiliary electrodes 5a and 5b. An organic luminescence part 9 is formed on the transparent electrode, at least over the luminescence region. A rear electrode 11 is formed on the organic luminescence part 9.

摘要: There is provided an electroconductive paste composition that can form a coating film having satisfactory thickness by single coating work. The electroconductive paste composition can form bumps having satisfactory height even by a smaller number of times of coating than that in the prior art technique. The electroconductive paste composition comprises a phenolic resin, a melamine resin, an electroconductive powder, a solvent, and a bump forming aid comprising a monohydric alcohol having a terminal methoxy group and having at least one ether bond. The electroconductive paste composition can be used in a printed wiring board.
