    Abstract: A method for applying an optical mark to a spectacle lens mounted in a spectacle frame includes determining an intended position of the optical mark at the spectacle lens based on the spectacle frame. The method further includes taking an image of at least a part of the spectacle frame and arranging the spectacle frame in a marking device having a marking appliance and adjusting the relative position of the spectacle frame and the marking appliance such that an actuation axis of the marking appliance intersects with the spectacle lens at the intended position of the optical mark. Additionally, the optical mark to the spectacle lens is applied at the intended position by using the marking appliance. The use of a spectacle frame as a positioning reference for an optical mark and a marking device are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A method of forming an optical device is provided. The method includes forming a first layer over a plurality of optical structures, the first layer including a first plurality of nanoparticles and a second plurality of nanoparticles. The first plurality of nanoparticles and the second plurality of nanoparticles are formed of a first material, the first plurality of nanoparticles have a first average volume, greater than 95% of the first plurality of nanoparticles have a volume within 10% of the first average volume, the second plurality of nanoparticles have a second average volume, greater than 95% of the second plurality of nanoparticles have a volume within 10% of the second average volume, and the second average volume is at least 25% larger the first average volume.

    Abstract: An inkjet printing device includes a chamber having an imaginary centerline that divides a length of the chamber in the first direction into two halves, and a plurality of inkjet nozzles coupled to the chamber and receiving ink from the chamber, the inkjet nozzles being arranged in a plurality of columns along a first direction. The inkjet nozzles include a center column nozzle disposed adjacent to the centerline of the chamber and an outer column nozzle disposed farther from the centerline than the center column nozzle. The chamber includes a bump portion disposed farther from the centerline than the outer column nozzle, the bump portion including a bump on an inner surface of the chamber.
