    摘要: A secondary battery employs a stacked electrode assembly. A current collector terminal includes a base plate portion and a current collector plate portion being continuous with the base plate portion and extending along a direction orthogonal to the base plate portion. The current collector plate portion includes a plurality of slits extending from a tip end of the current collector plate portion along a direction orthogonal to the base plate portion. A cut-out is formed in at least one of an edge of the plurality of slits and an edge of the current collector plate portion extending along a direction orthogonal to the base plate portion.

    摘要: A battery pack is a battery pack that is configured by arranging plural chargeable-dischargeable single cells in a specified direction. Each of the plural single cells includes: an electrode body including a positive electrode and a negative electrode; and a box-shaped battery case accommodating the electrode body and an electrolyte. The two adjacent single cells in the battery pack are provided with gas discharge valves in mutually opposing surfaces of the battery cases, each of the gas discharge valves discharging gas that is produced in the battery case. In the battery cases provided in the two adjacent single cells, the gas discharge valves that are provided in the mutually opposing surfaces are disposed at positions that do not overlap each other when seen in an arrangement direction of the single cells.

    摘要: A battery includes: positive and negative electrode terminals at least partially provided outside an outer packaging body; and a current cut-off device placed inside the outer packaging body. The current cut-off device is provided in either one of the positive and negative electrode terminals and cuts off an electric current path between the battery element and the either one of the positive and negative electrode when a pressure in the outer packaging body increases. The battery is provided in the movable body such that the either one of the positive and negative electrode terminals provided with the current cut-off device is placed on a vertically upper side relative to the other one of them. The current cut-off device is placed on the vertically upper side relative to a liquid level of the electrolytic solution.

Provided is a battery pack provided with a plurality of single batteries and a constraining mechanism. The constraining mechanism constrains the arranged single batteries in such a way that stress exists in the direction of compression along the arrangement direction. In addition, in a direction which intersects the arrangement direction, when a direction in which the external connection terminals extend is deemed to be a first direction and the direction opposite the first direction is deemed to a second direction, the constraining mechanism is configured in such a way that the stress increases from the first direction towards the second direction.
