There is also provided an inkjet recording method employing the ink set for inkjet recording, the method including a step of applying the undercoat liquid on top of a recording medium, a step of semi-curing the undercoat liquid, and a step of carrying out image formation by discharging the colored liquid on top of the semi-cured undercoat liquid.
