Abstract:
The present invention provides an internal thread member and an external thread member that can achieve stable finishing accuracy, can assure a desirable thread overlap, and have sufficient breaking strength and pullout strength. This invention also provides a cutter which can machine internal threads with stable finishing accuracy and can assure improved durability.
Abstract:
It is an object of the invention to provide a tap holder in which even when an error is brought about in synchronizing spindle feeding and rotation of a tapper body and a tap collet of a tap holder in correspondence with a machine tool spindle, the synchronization can be established by absorbing the error by a simple constitution. As means therefor, the tap holder is characterized in that a tapper body and a tap collet are inserted by a locking member at portions of the tapper body and the tap collet overlapping each other, and the tap collet is fixed to the tapper body by engaging the locking member with at least one of the tap collet and the tapper body in a state of being interposed with an elastic member on both sides thereof in an axial direction X.
Abstract:
An information-holding unit is provided which can minimize increase in cost and which can increase storage capacity as a whole without changing information transferring time. The information-holding unit comprises a plurality of RFID tags with desired specific information stored therein, and a tool holder as a mounting body for mounting these plural RFID tags.
Abstract:
This invention provides a clamping nut which prevents, at the time of rotation of the clamping nut, a fastening force that is imparted in the radial direction of the clamping nut towards the inside of the clamping nut, from operating on a converting part formed on the inner surface of the clamping nut, thereby enhancing rotation efficiency and making it possible to securely clamp a clamp object member. This invention also provides a tool holder with the above-described clamping nut, and a spanner for the fastening of the clamping nut. The clamping nut has an annular groove which takes the form of an annular shape over its outer surface in at least a section of the area on its outer surface that corresponds to a female screw, and which will not come in contact with the spanner. Alternatively, the spanner has a holding part for holding the outer surface of the clamping nut, and this holding part includes a non-contact area which takes the form of an annular shape along the holding part and which will not come in contact with at least a section of the area that corresponds to the female screw of the clamping nut.
Abstract:
A chuck device includes: a chuck body having a tapered hole at a front end portion and being fixed to a rotational spindle of the machine tool; a collet capable of being reduced in diameter and inserted into the tapered hole for holding the tool; and a nut that can be screwed to the chuck body for fastening the collet. A non-alignment prevention member is provided for suppressing relative movement by bringing the nut into radial contact with the chuck body even when the spindle of the machine tool is rotated and includes a first nut rear end side tapered surface at a farther rear end side than a screw portion, and a chuck body side tapered surface formed in the chuck body for coming into contact with the first nut rear end side tapered surface when the nut is screwed up.

Abstract:
The present invention enhances the lubricating property of the sliding surfaces of a clamp nut and a collet, reduces a friction coefficient, prevents the occurrence of seizure, and enhances durability. Accordingly, it is possible to rotate the clamp nut and the collet without causing vibrations due to imbalance. Moreover, this invention provides a clamp nut that can maintain tool-mounting accuracy for a long period of time even in the case of high-speed rotation, and also provides a collet chuck including such clamp nut. Concerning the clamp nut which is mounted on a collet chuck body for holding tools in the collet and which clamps the collet chuck body and the collet together, at least a part of the clamp nut which comes in contact with the collet is made of oil-bearing metal.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a collet capable of efficiently supplying a cooling fluid such as a cutting fluid to a tool and thereby realizing satisfactory cooling by adjusting the flow velocity of the cooling fluid according to the diameter of the tool held by the collet. The collet comprises: a collet body for inserting the shank of the tool, a slot formed at least from the tool insertion side, and a weir member inserted into the slot. The weir member extends from a position recessed from the inner surface of the collet body in a direction closer to the outer surface of the collet body and reaches the outer surface thereof, and a gap S through which the fluid can flow is formed between the weir member and the inner surface of the collet body.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a tool holder which realizes an improved applicability to tools with different diameters and attains high sealability and is capable of efficiently supplying a fluid at a predetermined position even when a fluid of high pressure is supplied. The tool holder comprises: an engaging member 4 provided on the top end side of a tool holding portion of a holder body 2 and comprising an inclined face 15 constructed in a manner such that the inside diameter becomes smaller toward the top end of the tool 10 held by the holder body 2; and an elastic member 5 as a stopper provided between the inclined face 15 and the outside periphery of the tool 10.
