Abstract: The present application discloses an image transmission device and method. The image transmission device includes a receiver configured to receive pixel data in image data from a camera in sequence and buffer the pixel data into a memory, and determine, upon reception of a line of pixel data, a line number of the line of pixel data in the image data and a frame number of the image data; and a processor configured to obtain the line of pixel data, the line number of the line of pixel data and the frame number of the image data from the receiver, package the obtained line of pixel data, line number of the line of pixel data and frame number of the image data into a data packet, and transmit the data packet to a server.

Abstract: The present document describes a vehicle-side image capturing system and method that is capable of improving qualities of images captured at vehicle-side. The system includes: a controller, a plurality of cameras, a light sensor and an encoder each connected to the controller. The controller is configured to: receive an illumination intensity of a current environment from the light sensor, select one of the plurality of cameras that is adapted to the illumination intensity as a target camera, activate when the target camera is different from a currently operating camera, deactivate the currently operating camera then configure the target camera as an operating camera for image capturing, and receive images captured by the operating camera and transmit the received images to the encoder. The encoder is configured to encode the received images and transmit the encoded images.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to vehicle technology, and more particularly, to an unmanned vehicle and its sensor device and cleaning mechanism. The cleaning mechanism includes: a housing, a cleaning element, a driving component transmissively connected to the cleaning element and a control unit installed within a receiving cavity. The housing has a light transmissive element provided on a side surface thereof. The cleaning element is pivotable about one end thereof and mounted to the housing. The cleaning element, when pivoting, frictionally interacts with a surface of the light transmissive element that is away from the receiving cavity to clean the light transmissive element. The control unit is communicatively connected to the driving component for controlling the driving component. The cleaning mechanism can clean the light transmissive element using the cleaning element, so as to solve the problem in the related art that a sensor may not function normally due to contamination of a sensor device by dirt such as dust.
