    摘要: A thermosetting composition comprises a carboxyl terminated polyester having a carboxyl functionality greater than 2 and being the reaction product of a dicarboxylic aliphatic acid, a dihydric aliphatic alcohol and a tricarboxylic aliphatic acid or a trihydric aliphatic alcohol; and a liquid diglycidyl ether of a dihydric phenol, the thermosetting composition containing from 0,8 to 1,2 equivalents of polyester per equivalent of diglycidyl ether. Many acids and alcohols are specified. Specified diglycidyl ethers are the reaction products of epichlorhydrin with hydroquinone, resorcinol, catechol, bis-(p-hydroxyphenyl) methane, 1:1-bis-(p-hydroxyphenyl) ethane, 2:2-bis-(p-hydroxyphenyl) propane, 2:2-bis-(p-hydroxyphenyl) butane, methyl resorcinol and tribromo resorcinol. Catalysts, e.g. p-, s- and t-amines, alkali metal hydroxides and phenoxides, alkali metal salts of fatty acids and quaternary ammonium compounds of which many are specified may be present in the composition. In the examples:- polyesters are made from (1) and (2) diethylene glycol, glycerol and adipic acid and (3) diethylene glycol, glycerol and a polymerized soya acid and heated with the diglycidyl ether of 2:2-bis-(p-hydroxyphenyl) propane in the presence of benzyl dimethylamine.
