    Abstract: A gas turbine engine component includes a ring comprising a single-piece component having an outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface that surrounds an engine center axis, a plurality of outer diameter pedestals formed in the outer peripheral surface and circumferentially spaced apart from each other, and a plurality of inner diameter pedestals formed in the inner peripheral surface and circumferentially spaced apart from each other. A plurality of recesses are formed in the outer peripheral surface and are circumferentially spaced apart from each other.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to a system associated with an engine having a central longitudinal axis, including a first shaft axially extending along the central longitudinal axis, a second shaft coaxial with the first shaft, a first air seal that seals between the first shaft and the second shaft at a first axial location, a second air seal that seals between the first shaft and the second shaft at a second axial location, a first oil seal that provides intershaft sealing between the first shaft and the second shaft at a third axial location, a second oil seal that provides intershaft sealing between the first shaft and the second shaft at a fourth axial location axially adjacent to the third axial location, and a high pressure compressor that provides pressurized air to a first radially exterior side of the first air seal and to a second radially exterior side the second air seal.

    Abstract: A damped anti-rotational system is provided comprising a pawl carrier having an axis of rotation, a pawl pivotably mounted to the pawl carrier on a pivot joint, the pawl having a contact portion and a counterweight portion, a stop pin axially disposed in the pawl carrier and configured to contact the contact portion of the pawl in response to radially inward movement of the pawl, wherein the stop pin is mounted to the pawl carrier at a forward portion of the stop pin and an aft portion of the stop pin, wherein a forward O ring is disposed on the forward portion of the stop pin and an aft O ring is disposed on the aft portion of the stop pin.
