    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an assembly for a gas turbine engine. The assembly may comprise a tierod, a bearing mounting ring, and a joint coupling the tierod to the bearing mounting ring. The joint may be configured to increase a volume of a bearing compartment on an inner surface of the bearing mounting ring. A coefficient of thermal expansion of the bearing mounting ring may be substantially the same as the coefficient of thermal expansion of the tierod.

    Abstract: A mid-turbine frame for use in a gas turbine engine comprises at least one vane extending between a vane inner platform and a vane outer platform, and an inner case radially inward of the inner platform. A plurality of tie rods extend from a platform radially inward of the inner case to a radially outer location which is secured by a mount member. The tie rods are secured in the inner case by a forward bolt, and at least one rear bolt, with the forward bolt extending along an axis which is non-parallel to a center axis of the inner case. A gas turbine engine and a method for assembling a mid-turbine frame are also disclosed.

    Abstract: An assembly for a gas turbine engine includes a first module, a second module interconnected with the first module, a first gas turbine component, and a seal assembly. The first gas turbine component includes a body extending generally radially between an inner mounting portion and an outer seal carrier portion. The inner mounting portion is fastened to the first module such that the first gas turbine component forms a boundary between a first annular cavity in the first module, and a second annular cavity in the second module. The seal assembly is mounted to the seal carrier portion of the first gas turbine component, and includes a flow diverter assembly having a flow diverter and a finger seal commonly fastened to a first axial side of the seal carrier portion.

    Abstract: An assembly for a gas turbine engine, comprises a fairing assembly extending generally axially through a portion of the gas turbine engine, a first component disposed radially inward of the fairing assembly, a second component disposed axially adjacent to the first component, a flow diverter, and a finger seal. The flow diverter includes a mounting portion securing the flow diverter to the first component, and an arm extending in an axial direction from the mounting portion toward the second component. The finger seal includes a fixed end secured between the flow diverter mounting portion and the first component.
