Abstract: Provided are compounds of formula M(L1)(L2), wherein M is Pd or Pt; L1 is a tridentate ligand, or a substituted or unsubstituted cyclopentadienyl ligand; L2 is a bidentate ligand; if L1 is a tridentate ligand, then it is coordinated to M forming at least two 6-membered chelate rings; if L1 is a cyclopentadienyl ligand, then L2 is a monoanionic ligand; and L1 and L2 can be joined together by a linker. Also provided are formulations comprising these compounds. Further provided are OLEDs and related consumer products that utilize these compounds.
