    摘要: An infrared microwave transponder comprising antenna means for receiving through an infrared microwave lens an infrared signal which includes a microwave signal representative of radar reflections, means for demodulating the infrared signal and generating a microwave signal representative of the radar reflections, means for attenuating the microwave signal in inverse proportion to the magnitude of the infrared signal, and means for directing the attenuated microwave signal to the antenna means to cause radiation of the attenuated microwave signal through the infrared microwave lens.

    摘要: A system for accepting radar signals containing information simulating target range in time and amplitude, target velocity as a doppler, and target signature as an amplitude scintillation and adding target angular simulations of target space position and scintillations is described. An acousto-optic modulator is provided wherein a radar signal containing selected target simulations modulates an optical, infrared signal, in accordance with the selected target simulations. Beam steering mirror galvanometers are provided to selectively direct the modulated IR radiation onto selected areas of an RF (radar frequency) array. The mirror galvanometers in combination with selected areas of the RF array function to add target angular simulations and target space position and scintillations to the other simulations contained in the radar signal. The IR radiation is converted to a radar frequency signal in the RF array and is transmitted to the radar test system.

    摘要: An optical or photon image is converted by a photocathode to an electron image. A semiconductor plate receives the electron image on a first side thereof. For an electronically controlled time, the image is integrated and stored in thousands of reversed biased PN junctions connected to micro-sized conductors, in the plate. An intensified image is then transferred from a second side of the plate, at an electronically controlled time, to an output plate where the intensified image may be viewed.

For an electronically controlled time, the image is integrated and stored in thousands of microsized conductors, in the plate. A deformographic film, mounted on a second side of the plate, is deformed according to the stored image. A reflective film is mounted over the deformographic film so that incident light scatters, in accordance with the stored image.

    摘要: A scanner projector system for simulating land, weather, chaff clouds, or other background conditions surrounding a target to a radar system is described. The projector system includes a laser beam generator having an external feedback loop and a traveling wave scanner for deflecting a portion of said laser beam through a recorded scenario film including a density pattern corresponding to the background conditions surrounding at target. The traveling wave scanner simulates the manner in which an actual radar beam scans a test scenario while the scenario film simulates the reflectivity of the background conditions.
