    摘要： Aspects of the disclosure are directed to a non-contact seal assembly comprising a plurality of seal shoes arranged about a centerline in an annular array, the seal shoes including a first seal shoe extending axially along the centerline between a first shoe end and a second shoe end. The non-contact seal assembly may comprise a seal base circumscribing the annular array of the seal shoe, the seal base comprising first, second and third inner radial seal base surfaces where the third inner radial seal base surface is axially between the first and second inner radial seal base surfaces and is radially proximate the centerline with respect to the radially distal first and second inner radial seal base surfaces. The non-contact seal assembly may further comprise a plurality of spring elements, each of the spring elements radially distal from and connecting to a respective one of the seal shoes and radially proximate the third inner radial seal base surface.

The plate includes a plurality of flanges in mating engagement to the plurality of grooves. A first component and a second component are attached to the alignment assembly. The mating engagement of the plurality of grooves and the plurality of flanges is arranged to provide incremental adjustment to define a position of the first component relative to the second component.

    摘要： A nut plate fastener includes a basket and a nut. The basket includes a web that extends laterally between a plurality of lipped flanges. The web and the lipped flanges form a channel that extends longitudinally through the basket. The web includes a fastener aperture, with an elongated cross-sectional geometry, that extends vertically through the web. The nut is arranged within the channel and aligned longitudinally with the fastener aperture. The lipped flanges retain the nut laterally and vertically within the channel.

    摘要： A gas turbine engine includes a fan, a compressor section, a combustor, a fan drive gear system, and a turbine section coupled to drive the fan through the gear system. The combustor includes an annular outer shell and an annular inner shell that define an annular combustion chamber. There is a bulkhead in the annular combustion chamber, and an annular heat shield is mounted on the bulkhead. The annular heat shield includes a segment that has a forward face and an aft face, a circumferential outer side and a circumferential inner side, a central orifice between the forward face and the aft face, a lip projecting from the forward face around the central orifice, a rail projecting from the forward face, and a plurality of through-holes between the rail and the lip. The rail contacts the bulkhead to define a cavity bounded by the rail, the lip, and the bulkhead.
