Abstract: A device for cutting off a recording signal at the end of a recording operation in a cartridge type tape recorder, which device operates at the time of stopping of a recording operation to cause a variation in the frequency characteristic of a trap circuit for trapping a high-frequency bias and inserted in a recording signal transmission path, thereby to cut off the recording signal.
