    Abstract: A method for refining multicast service areas based on location may include receiving, at a mobile device, location-based definitions of service subareas located within a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) service area. Different MBMS content may be associated with two or more service subareas. The method includes storing the received location-based definitions of the service subareas within the mobile device, generating a current position of the mobile device, identifying a service subarea from the plurality of service subareas that circumscribes the current position of the mobile device, and permitting, in response to the identifying, user access to MBMS content associated with the identified service subarea.

The device may also uncompressing the content package into a content folder in the temporary folder. The content folder includes resources that correspond to widgets in a template, wherein the content folder further includes the template, and wherein the template specifies a layout of the widgets on a page to be output to a display device.

    Abstract: A device receives a packet, of multiple packets, relating to a file being delivered via multicast, and a file delivery table associated with the file. The file delivery table includes uniform resource identifiers corresponding to respective sources of the file. The device determines that one or more portions of the file, that are included in the packet, are in need of repair after receiving the packet. The device provides, to a respective source corresponding to a uniform resource identifier, a request for data relating to the one or more portions of the file based on determining that the one or more portions of the file are in need of repair, receives the data from the respective source based on the request, and processes the data to repair the one or more portions of the file while one or more other packets of the multiple packets are being received.
