Bioabsorbable, water-soluble hemostatic cellulose based gauze matrix structures are described, including one or more species of chitosan, etherized cellulose, nonionic surfactant, water-soluble polysaccharide hydrocolloid and/or gum. Approximately 85% to 95% deacetylated decrystallized chitosan, present in an amount from about 2% to about 15% by weight, is found to be particularly advantageous. Favorable properties are found related to rapid stoppage of bleeding and bioabsorbability, among other properties.

Identifiers of a same product sold by different merchants may be de-duplicated and/or matched as part of the data processing into a smaller set of uniquely identified products. When the data comes from text, including free-form text, an information extraction and/or machine learning component may be used to detect references to new and known unique products, including product successors (e.g., new product models). Product successor availability may be determined based on gathered data. Product price movement direction predictions, and/or product price range predictions may be determined, as well as purchase-timing recommendations (e.g. Buy or Wait). Such recommendations may be provided for presentation (e.g., to prediction service users) in a variety of forms.

Methods and systems for wireless communication are disclosed and may include controlling a loading and/or a charging of a battery source in each earpiece of the wireless stereo headset. The loading control may include switching between the battery sources powering the headset. A remaining power level may be monitored for each of the battery sources. Both earpieces in the headset may be powered utilizing one or both of the battery sources. One of the earpieces in the headset may be powered utilizing one of the battery sources. A total usage time may be stored for each of the battery sources. The loading and charging of the battery sources may be controlled by equalizing the total usage time for each of the battery sources. The earpieces in the headset may be coupled via a tether line, or may be coupled wirelessly.

A video signal compensation circuit assembly is disclosed to include a video signal compensator electrically connected to a computer through a standard VGA cable to compensate for the video signal outputted from the computer, a video signal amplifier electrically connected in series between the video signal compensator and a display monitor for amplifying the compensated video signal outputted from the video signal compensator for display through the display monitor, and a synchronous signal processor electrically connected in parallel to the output end of the video signal compensator to make correction of the video signal outputted from the computer into the video signal compensator.
