Abstract: A system and method for assisting selective hearing includes a detector for detecting an audio source signal portion of one or more audio sources by using at least two received microphone signals of a hearing environment. A position determiner allocates position information to each of the one or more audio sources. An audio type classifier assigns an audio source signal type to the audio source signal portion of each of the one or more audio sources. A signal portion modifier varies the audio source signal portion of at least one audio source of the one or more audio sources depending on the audio signal type of the audio source signal portion of the at least one audio source so as to obtain a modified audio signal portion of the at least one audio source. The system includes a signal generator.

Abstract: A device includes one or more processors configured to receive, via wireless transmission from a playback device, data associated with a pose of the playback device. The one or more processors are also configured to select, based on the data, a particular representation of a sound field from a plurality of representations of the sound field. Each respective representation of the sound field corresponds to a different sector of a set of sectors. A sector represents a range of values associated with movement of the playback device. The one or more processors are further configured to generate audio data corresponding to the selected representation of the sound field. one or more processors are also configured to send, via wireless transmission, the audio data as streaming data to the playback device.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a noise reduction headset. A branch pipe is disposed in the headset to connect a sound cavity inside the headset and an external environment. The branch pipe has a low-pass filter function to filter out high-band noise entering the sound cavity from the external environment, so that impact on sound quality inside the sound cavity that is caused by noise in the external environment is reduced, thereby implementing passive noise reduction.
