摘要: There are provided hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) having high solubility even when keeping the molar substitution (MS) of hydroxypropoxy groups conventional; and others. More specifically, there are provided HPMC having a molar substitution (MS) of hydroxypropoxy groups of from 0.1 to 0.5, a ratio (referred to as “MF at 3-position/MS”) of 0.12 or more, as calculated by dividing a molar fraction (referred to as “MF at 3-position”) of anhydroglucose units in which only a hydroxy group at the 3-position carbon is substituted with a hydroxypropoxy group and none of hydroxy groups at the 2-position and 6-position carbons is substituted with a hydroxypropoxy group by the molar substitution (referred to as “MS”) of hydroxypropoxy groups, and a viscosity at 20° C. of more than 50 mPa·s and not more than 150000 mPa·s, as determined in a 2% by mass aqueous solution; and others.

摘要: A cosmetic ink composition comprises a particulate material, a polymeric dispersant, a rheology modifier, and a surface tension modifier, wherein the surface tension modifier is selected from the group consisting of C1-C16 alcohols, C5-C18 diols, and mixtures thereof. The particulate material can have a Particle Size Distribution D50 of about 100 nm to about 2,000 nm. The rheology modifier can be selected from the group consisting of alkali swellable emulsion polymers, hydrophobically modified alkali swellable emulsion polymers, and combinations thereof. The cosmetic ink composition can have a surface tension of from about 20 to about 45 mN/m.

摘要: A method of preparing an oxidized starch haemostatic material, including adding a starch raw material to an external circulation pulsatile reactor; switching on a pump to allow inflow of dry air for drying the raw material; switching on a heat exchanger; vacuumizing the reactor; opening a nitrogen dioxide pipeline and a dry air pipeline; pumping in a mixed gas; controlling temperature at 0-120° C. by the heat exchanger; wherein nitrogen dioxide is contacted with the raw material to trigger a selective oxidation reaction and is continuously recycled; an airflow circulation switch is switched on and off at a pulsating ratio of 1:1-10 to carry out airflow pulsation; stopping inflow of nitrogen dioxide and continuing airflow circulation for 5-30 minutes; after completion of the reaction, adjusting to room temperature; vacuumizing the reactor and treating exhaust gas; allowing nitrogen gas to flow in for rinsing the replaced reactor until completion.

摘要: Provided herein are, inter alia, methods for treating rhinosinusitis with P-glycoprotein inhibitors. A subject having rhinosinusitis is identified and then treated by administration to the subject an effective amount of a P-gp inhibitor. The subject having rhinosinusitis can be identified by one of skill in the art based on known methods, e.g., based on detection of the presence of symptoms, by endoscopy, or by computed tomography. The efficacy of the treatment can be monitored by methods known in the art, e.g., by monitoring symptoms, by endoscopy or computed tomography. The P-glycoprotein inhibitor can be delivered to the subject's nasal passage and sinuses by an inhalation device, by flushing, by spraying, or by an eluting implant surgically placed in the subject's nasal passage or sinuses. The P-glycoprotein inhibitor can also be administered in combination with one or both of a corticosteroid and an antibiotic.
