摘要: A vented wound dressing barrier includes one or more membrane layers with a plurality of vents. The vents are cut along a perimeter of the vents through the one or more membrane layers. Each vent having a connection portion uncut relative to the one or more membrane layers thereby forming a hinge configured to allow the vents to open for drainage when exposed to fluid underlying the vented wound dressing barrier. The plurality of vents is each cut along the perimeter without removal of any of the membrane layer. The one or more membrane layers with the plurality of vents has a surface for covering a wound, the surface area in the absence of a fluid pressing on the vents having no openings or voids which reduce the surface area of a vented wound dressing barrier area covering a wound.

摘要: A malleable demineralized bone composition consists of cortical bone made from a first portion and a second portion. The first portion and second portion of cortical bone is made from cut pieces freeze dried then ground into particles and demineralized then freeze-dried. A volume of the second portion is placed in a solution of sterile water to create a mixture, the water volume being seven times the volume of the second portion, the mixture is autoclaved under heat and pressure to form a gelatin, and the first portion is mixed with the gelatin to form a malleable putty or paste.

摘要: A biological composition intermixed with a polyampholyte protectant for direct implantation has a mixture of biologic material and a volume of polyampholyte protectant. The mixture of biologic material has non-whole cellular components including vesicular components and active and inactive components of biological activity, cell fragments, cellular excretions, cellular derivatives, and extracellular components, or whole cells or combinations of the non-whole cellular components and whole cells, wherein the mixture is compatible with biologic function. The volume of polyampholyte protectant is intermixed with the mixture of biologic material, wherein the polyampholyte protectant is a liquid of a polyamine polymer compound of carboxylated poly-lysine and wherein the polyampholyte protectant forms a three-dimensional bonding shroud externally enveloping each of the non-whole cellular components, if any, and each of the whole cells, if any, of the mixture of biologic material.

摘要: A biologic composition responsive to inflammation has an allograft scaffold matrix for injection or implantation. The allograft scaffold matrix has donor quiescent and/or senescent cells. The donor quiescent and/or senescent cells react in response to signaling of inflammation from host cells or matrix. The reaction to signaling causes the donor quiescent and/or senescent cells to secrete anti-inflammatory cytokines and secrete exosomes to initiate regeneration of the area of the inflammation. The biologic composition further has a cryoprotectant. The cryoprotectant is a polyampholyte, preferably the polyampholyte is an ε-poly-L-lysine. The cryoprotectant is not DMSO or glycerol based. The cryoprotectant is suitable for direct implantation without washing from the allograft scaffold matrix in either a diluted or non-diluted state.

The biological composition is predisposed to demonstrate or support elaboration of active volume or spatial geometry consistent in morphology with that of disc tissue. The viable disc regenerative composition extends regenerative resonance that compliments or mimics disc tissue complexity.

摘要: Compositions of exosomes are provided that include a plurality of exosomes and a biocompatible cryoprotectant, such that the exosomes are suspended in the biocompatible cryoprotectant as a colloidal suspension of exosomes. Preferably, the cryoprotectant is a carboxylated E-poly-1-lysine (COOH-PLL) cryoprotectant, but other moieties might be extended to the claim of hybridization polymers to incorporate preferred embodiments for lineage and tissue specific intentions. The colloidal suspension of exosomes can be frozen at −65 degrees C. or colder and thereafter stored as a frozen composition of exosomes or can be freeze-dried and thereafter stored at ambient conditions in a vacuum sealed container. Also provided are kits comprising the composition of exosomes and methods of making the compositions of exosomes.
