Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for ad-hoc group messaging are provided herein. In some embodiments, methods for ad-hoc group messaging may include detecting two or more subscribers proximate a common location, creating an ad-hoc group including contact information of the two or more subscribers proximate the common location, and transmitting information associated with the ad-hoc group to a device of each of the two or more subscribers associated with the ad-hoc group.
