Abstract: The invention relates to a convertible top, comprising a top linkage, which can be moved between an open position that opens the vehicle interior upward and a closed position that covers the vehicle interior above and which as a link assembly on both sides with respect to a vertical vehicle longitudinal center plane, and at least one top element that is at least largely rigid, which top element extends between the link assemblies arranged on both sides.
