The cam-guided adjustable pedal actuator assembly also includes a pedal operatively connected to the linear actuator for adjusting a position of the pedal relative to the housing. The pedal has a cam surface to cooperate with the housing as a force is applied to the pedal such that the housing and the pedal effectively act as one solid member to transfer force to an actuating member in a manner of a conventional pedal.

摘要： An adjustable pedal assembly includes a support structure adapted to connect to a vehicle, with the support structure defining first and second slots arranged in a spaced-apart manner. A pedal assembly is disposed adjacent the support structure, where the pedal assembly includes a pedal. First and second pins extend from the pedal assembly through the first and second slots whereby the pedal assembly is supported for sliding movement on the support structure along the slots. A linear actuator is interconnected with the pedal assembly for sliding the pedal assembly to a desired position along the support structure. The invention may be adapted for use in connection with brake pedals, clutch pedals, and accelerator pedals. In the case of accelerator pedals, the invention can be adapted for use with conventional pedals as well as electronic throttle control pedals.

摘要： An adjustable pedal system has a first pedal pivotally attached to the translatable nut of a first jack screw actuator for adjusting the fore and aft position of the first pedal and a second pedal pivotally attached to the translatable nut of a second jack screw actuator for adjusting the fore and aft position of the second pedal and a third pedal pivotally attached to the translatable nut of a third jack screw actuator for adjusting the fore and aft position of the third pedal. An electric motor drives the translatable nuts fore and aft, and a motor control switch assembly controlled by the fore and aft movements of two of the nuts maintain alignment of the three pedals. A memory circuit may be incorporated into the system for moving the pedals to a preselected adjusted position or indicating the preselected adjusted position. The memory circuit may be separate or incorporated in a seat memory module.

摘要： An apparatus for opening and closing a deck lid of a vehicle body includes a jack-screw type drive unit having two elongated relatively rotatable drive elements which are threadably engaged for controlled bi-directional displacement. An electric motor engages the rotatable drive element. A first mounting device pivotally connects the rotatable drive element to a relatively fixed point on the vehicle. A second mounting device pivotally connects the non-rotatable drive element to the deck lid, or vice versa. The motor is energized to affect bi-directional control of the drive unit while enabling low back-drive effort. A concentric spring counters loading due to the weight of the deck lid.
