    摘要: Method and apparatus for slitting rolled material. The material is mounted adjacent to a slitting means which is oscillated substantially tangential to the surface of the rolled material being slit to improve the slitting action. Radially adjustable clamping jaws engage the outer surface of the rolled material, the adjustment of which is controlled by endless chains. A radially expandable supporting shaft is included for engagement with the inner surface of the rolled material for securely mounting that material.
