摘要: A cross-platform management system that handles cross-platform management of client requirements receives a request corresponding to a plurality of client-defined requirements to be achieved in a flight. The request for the plurality of client-defined requirements is associated with one or more request parameters. The system generates a proposal plan corresponding to the received request based on adjustment of the one or more request parameters. The proposal plan corresponds to at least a distribution of target audience across a set of delivery platforms. The system executes the generated proposal plan for a first time period in the flight on one or more delivery platforms. The system re-optimizes the generated proposal plan and controls execution of the generated proposal plan for a second time period in the flight by an in-flight re-distribution of the target audience across one or more delivery platforms of the set of delivery platforms.

摘要: A method and system for scheduling commercial advertisement are described in which a data processing system having the spot scheduler solver may be operable to receive an advertiser's order to place advertisement or commercial spots into one or more commercial television breaks. The order may comprise various constraints and requirements corresponding to the spots. The spots may be assigned to inventory buckets within the commercial breaks based on the constraints and requirements. When a conflict arises, a prioritization scheme may be performed to complete the assignment of spots not assigned and to generate a commercial break schedule. The prioritization scheme may be based on spot arrival lead time or on maximizing the sum of the rates corresponding to the spots. The data processing system may maximize the spread of the spots over the commercial break schedule. The commercial break schedule may be adjusted when additional orders are received.

摘要: Tanning apparatuses and methods of operating tanning apparatuses for high efficiency use. In an embodiment, a tanning apparatus including a tanning lamp is operated by delivering a first input voltage to the tanning lamp to generate an ultraviolet radiation output. When the output from the tanning lamp has sufficiently decreased over time due to use, the first input voltage is increased to increase the output to an effective level. Preferably, a variable voltage transformer is used to increase input voltage.
