摘要： An exothermic reaction mixture for joining metallic components includes at least one transition metal oxide and, as fuel, a mixture of aluminium and calcium suicide, wherein the molar ratio of aluminium to calcium suicide is from 16:1 to 0.25:1. Methods of preparing the exothermic reaction mixtures and for using them in welding applications are also described.
