Abstract: A roof for a motor vehicle having at least one vehicle window, the roof having a roof module having which forms a vehicle roof of the motor vehicle, the roof module having a panel component, which at least partially forms a roof skin of the vehicle roof, the roof skin serving as an outer sealing surface, at least one environment sensor configured to send and/or receive electromagnetic signals for detecting a vehicle environment through a see-through area, and at least one cleaning device having at least one cleaning nozzle. The at least one cleaning nozzle is configured to clean the see-through area and the at least one vehicle window.
