摘要： A multi-domain liquid crystal display includes multiple first and second picture elements and multiple first and second auxiliary electrodes. The first and second picture elements have opposite polarities under the same frame of an inversion drive scheme, and each picture element has a reflective region and a transmissive region. The first auxiliary electrodes are connected to the first picture elements, and each of the first auxiliary electrodes is positioned next to at least one side of one second picture element. The second auxiliary electrodes are connected to the second picture elements, and each of the second auxiliary electrodes is positioned next to at least one side of one first picture element.

摘要： A thin film transistor array substrate includes an insulating substrate, a plurality of scan lines, an insulating layer, a plurality of data lines, and a plurality of pixels arranged in an array of rows and columns. The pixels in each row are aligned in a row direction, the pixels in each column are aligned in a column direction, and the pixels are separated from each other by the scan lines and the data lines. Each pixel includes a thin film transistor and a pixel electrode. The pixel electrode has at least one opening that extends from the periphery to the inside of the pixel electrode and at least one extension part that extends in the row direction into an opening of a neighboring pixel electrode in the same row. Each of the scan lines alternately controls one of the pixel electrodes in a first row and one of the pixel electrodes in a second row immediately adjacent to the first row.

摘要： A liquid crystal display includes a color filter substrate, an array substrate, a liquid crystal layer, and at least one conductive element. The color filter substrate has at least one color filter, at least one first electrode, and at least one second electrode opposite the first electrode. The second electrode is comb-shaped and disposed between the first electrode and the liquid crystal layer, and one of the first and the second electrodes is electrically connected to a common voltage of the liquid crystal display. At least one conductive element electrically connects the source/drain region of a thin film transistor with the other one of the first and the second electrodes which is not connected to the common voltage.

The second metal layer is formed on the first dielectric layer, and the second dielectric layer is formed on the first dielectric layer and covers the second metal layer. The pixel electrodes are formed on the second dielectric layer, each of the pixel electrodes having at least one opening to divide itself into a plurality of sections. The auxiliary electrodes are formed on the second dielectric layer, and each of the auxiliary electrodes extends into the opening of the pixel electrode. The second metal layer is hollowed out at a position overlapping the auxiliary electrode to form at least one opening.

The auxiliary electrode is electrically connected with the pixel electrode controlled by a previous scan line and includes a body portion and extending portions disposed in the openings. The pixel electrode is electrically connected with the auxiliary electrode of a pixel unit controlled by a next scan line.

The second substrate is parallel to the first substrate. A liquid crystal layer is sealed between the two substrates. The first substrate includes several reflective portions. The second substrate includes a color filter structure. The color filter structure includes several color filter layers in at least four colors. Each of the color filter layers has an opening corresponding to one reflective portion. An optical filter is disposed in the opening for enhancing the coloration of the LCD panel.

摘要： A LCD panel includes a plurality of pixel elements. Each pixel element includes a first substrate, a second substrate and an optical filter portion. The first substrate and the second substrate are parallel to each other, and a liquid crystal layer is sealed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate includes a reflective portion, and the second substrate includes a color filter layer. The color filter layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate has an opening opposite to the reflective portion. The optical filter portion is disposed in the opening of the color filter layer for providing color compensation in a reflection mode.
