Abstract: An infrared transceiver module for enabling a multiple direction infrared communication includes a transfer element for enlarging the working angles of infrared emission and reception of a transmitter and receiver portion. The transfer element has a surface area larger than the surface area of the transmitter and receiver portion. Infrared signal beam transmitting from the transmitter and receiver portion is repeatedly refracted by said transfer element and transmitted in multiple directions from the transfer element. Exterior signal beams coming to any portion of the transfer element are also repeatedly refracted by said transfer element and received by said transmitter and receiver portion. Therefore, a multiple direction infrared transmission and reception is obtained.

Abstract: A portable keyboard consists of a pliable key body and a circuit body. The key body has a plurality of key caps which is embedded with an electric contact made from conductive rubber. Abstract: A membrane switch solves the problem of requiring a spacing layer or spacers as in the prior art, and includes an upper membrane, a lower membrane. The upper membrane has an upper elastic tongue, an upper hollow portion formed around the upper elastic tongue, and a first conductive trace printed on a top surface of the upper membrane with a first contact formed on the upper elastic tongue. The lower membrane has a lower elastic tongue corresponding to the upper elastic tongue, a lower hollow portion formed around the lower elastic tongue, and a second conductive trace printed on a bottom surface of the lower membrane with a second contact on the lower elastic tongue. The lower elastic tongue penetrates through the upper hollow portion of the upper membrane and elastically extends above the upper elastic tongue. When the lower membrane is depressed, the second contact contacts the first contact.

Abstract: A thin key structure includes a keycap, a key body, an elastic piece and a base. The keycap has a first side wall. The key body has a second side wall forming a hollow chamber in which the keycap can be put to connect the elastic piece. The inner of the second side wall is provided with guiding portions for guiding the keycap to move steadily in the key body. With the keycap being put in the key body, the total height of the key structure can be reduced, and the vertical moving distance of the keycap with respect to the key body to press the elastic piece can be shortened. Thus, the thin key structure can be made more compact.

Abstract: A two-part keyboard separately connects to an electronic device to input data to the electronic device. The two-part keyboard includes first and second housings that respectively have a keyboard portion. The two-part keyboard also includes a base, a connector, and a controller for receiving and processing a signal. Two ends of the base respectively and movably connect to the first and second housings. Due to the connection between the base and the first and the second housings, the first and the second housings may move toward or backward. The controller electrically connects to the connector and the keyboard portions on the first and the second housings. The base is contained within the first and the second housings when the first and the second housings move toward to contact.
